We need to do something about this,I mean c'mon.

1 out of 10 PRs deserve their job.

Most of them don't have the knowledge and maturity to even become a PR.

There are like lots of people who deserve to be a PR,I've played this game for 2-3 years and have 5000 hours.I have the knowledge.But enough chit-chat about me.

Fire the PRs and hire good ones!

Since iZone copies pretty much 3/4 of iEra, the server is like iEra with helpful/deserving staff members (for the most part)!

You'd be a terrible PR, just saying. You think it is all popularity, glory, and fame when in reality it is just a pain in the ass. Sure, free stuff is cool and the recongnition is cool, but after a week it isn't. You get non-stop questions, probably 5+ a minute, you have to check non-stop uploads, you have to check reports, feedback, communicate with other higher up staff. You work work work, and really there is no time for fun. You'd probably just end up resigning after 2 weeks, like the others do.

Well, I do that anyways. Answer questions and help out the new players, so I wouldn't mind doing that. It's just some people, names will not be named, decide that they want to be a PR for craps and giggles...

There should also be Administrators which speak a certain language, for the foreign players. Such as 'Spanish Player Relations', 'Russian Player Relations', etc. It was funny though, one time I tried to explain to someone how to get a melee in Spanish...

Keep crying, graal wont get decent staff until stefan and unixmad start paying staff members and not pocketing the millions they profit from IAPs and gold subscriptions.

Zone was always good. Staff are still providing meaningful content so you might as well join.

That's rubbish. There are plenty of decent potential staff out there, and there are already plenty of decent staff working on Graal servers. They're just spread out over dozens of different servers, and there's no real initiative for them all to work together on one project.

A good thing about the graal community is that it's free, I learned Gs2 for free, learned to make levels for free (this can be useful if I ever want to become an architect or something around that), and the community is always there.

Back to topic: I see the PRs doing nice work lately...? Could you provide names please?

Then maybe the initiative should be presented, i.e. making one central app for every server and actually paying staff members. You could just charge IAPs for each servers premium version and for gralat packs, maybe even cloud accounts to share cash across all servers. Honestly, stefan could just port the popular pc servers to iOS then merge the iOS servers with PC for a cross-platform experience, then give PC server developers the same type of paid developing service (PC only), except when the server gets a large amount of recurring players per month they can meet with stefan or unixmad about plans for porting it to iOS, if the owner so desires. Honestly this could be pulled off if stefan and such didnt take 2 years to pull off any new iOS servers these days.

Most people tell me that it isn't worth even trying zone. From what I hear it is too boring or too similar to era to be worth starting again on a new game.

Zone was fun the first 3-4 days of release, but now it's really boring for me :(

Not always. There's always been 2-3 power abusers and rule breakers. But of course none of them ever get punished. I forgot his name but he was a complete idiot. Broke A LOT of rules and abused his powers even more. I gathered so much evidence against him, sent it to zone , nothing happens. He eventually got fired for stealing graphics or something even tho he was a Gp or an lat I forgot

Millions is just to get the point across that theyre pocketing large amounts of cash from what people are paying for on graal. Even after server costs theres a reasonably large profit there. Im just saying why not give that to staff members as well?

Compared to other games, Graal is crap. If whomever actually has the power hired real employees, and put time into real quality, Graal could easily catch up to other Mobile RPGs.

Ok.. so guys the real thing here is that being a PR's Admin is a pain in the butt. Those guys never have fun and they always work so at least be thankful.

We have our fun don't mind that.
The thing is, it is pretty hard to constantly check every report especially if 50%+ is just spam/fake. Plus, you have to check uploads (heads up to 150 frames) and answer PMs, you often get spammed by same persons who you can't just block/ignore. And the fact you being the only active admin when being online makes it even more boring, and hard. It indeed is a pain in the ass, ya. But then again, you volunteer and you don't have to be online everyday for hours. I could imagine if I would log only every second day I would be way more motivated.

Era could easily top the app store if it wasnt pay to win had better weapon balancing and a actually dedicated staff that released new gameplay content (not hats melees or guns)

What's a "weapon balancing"?

this is like the best question really.... this is why we hire players using Applications. Even if they are recommended by staff, we still have them use Applications. This is the only we can try to decide really.

-Hiree happened to be unknown in the server -> players complain we hire noobs who don't know anything about the server.

This is pretty much all I see every time we hire.

I also see players just complain about staff and then claim that "they will do a better job if hired, I have more hours, etc" just like the first post.

Most people who are hired as a PR do their job correctly for like first month or so and then realize how much of a burden it is helping all these players who ask the same questions every... single.... day.... and you just lose all interest in being a PR, sometimes even in the game as well, then quit... or as shown by some former PR's who try to "go out with a bang" announce using foul language, or try to add items/money to their ios accounts/players.

We try to do our best, well most of us lol but like Pumad said... We volunteer to do our jobs. We don't get payed but we still try to help when/if we can.

No one will ever be satisfied with our work.

This is all they really need. I do graphics for iZone. I am no way near comparable to someone with a graphic art profession. If he was hired, and I don't mean "hire" like given an admin position. Not only would he be making top quality work, but he would be more motivated than I was.

Anyone that thinks Zone sucks, I have one thing to say.

I am appalled by your ignorance of the fact that people are opinion and even more astonished by the fact that you have no respect for any other opinion aside from your own.

This whole thread is useless. Graal will never be an advanced and intricate game due to its simplistic nature. Once you give that up, you give up a fundamental element and thus lose part of the quality and individuality.

All of this "maybe if Graal actually hired paid developers" is nonsense. You may not believe this, but Stefan is willing to hire frequent game developers to create essential assets to the game, such as splash screens. He has also tried to hire a few employees over the net and ended up being screwed over. One of these times resulted in Reborn getting their first copy of the Graal SRC.

Greed. and the staff are too dumb to do anything about it lol. Im sure people like snk get paid something.

Staff are volunteers. They volunteer to do this job, knowing they don't get paid. I'd like to see you run multiple servers 24/7 and have to moderate everything. Snk gets paid because he's the manger of the whole iEra. He's in charge of basically everything and if something gets ****ed up, it's all on him.

who does that?.. and yeah they are ******ed cuz they should be getting payed for what they make but they decide to work thousands of hours for free lol.

That's like saying "I should get volunteer points and money for doing community service."
They knowingly do community service (develop the game). They aren't forced to and I'm pretty sure Stefan doesn't have the funds to fund every single server member.
And even if it just was Era, Classic, and Zone, they have awaited a lot of staff members for each server.
