Era on Google Play!

Era has finally been released to the official android market (Google Play)!
It runs as good as on iOs, controls just feel different, but its smooth.

Classic & Zone are also released. Type "graalonline"<-and you'll see em'

Took Unix,EC,Stefan years to bring graal to the most used os platform in the world...but FINALLY ITS HERE!

Nezo 09-02-2013 09:20 AM

That would be big news a year back... Now it is like meh >.<, well it would sure boost the playercount for a week or so.

This are bigs news!

View attached pics for approx % of who owns the biggest part of the us market.
And also, globally android owns 79% of the market, while Apple has 13.2% and WindowsPhone owns 8.7% of the global market.

Android gained 10% in one year, apple lost 3%.

Android is the future, apple's going down.

And besides that...Android is open, and has affordable prices. Not 70$ produced *** that gets sold for 800$ after like apple.

Ghettoicedtea 09-02-2013 03:51 PM

meh no one is going to find graal in the market on there own, better start advertising

You'd be surprised how crappy games with worse names then graal online have 5-50k downloads.
And graalonline, Fact it has online in its name, will get people to at least look at it, online is probably one of the most used words in the research bar for apps on any platform/web.
Well about the "graal" part...not so much popular/usefull, shoulda have been GraalOnlineRPG...
Other then that, give it 1-2 months, you'll see, we'll have some downloads.

lord greg 09-02-2013 06:59 PM

I don't think graal could cope with a large increase of players.

Nabu Lapse 09-02-2013 08:14 PM

I hate getting new players, it just makes everything harder.

NeoZX 09-02-2013 10:19 PM

See...all iServer's just got broadened. That's great...but I don't see iZone getting bigger. We need that massive update, but you guys look like you're doing great! GJ Era. :)

The only reason it gets a lot users is because of the crazy discounts on the Samsung Galaxy offers.

iOs/MacOs are forsure smoother/faster/more stable, but you do know they're very restricted, limited.
Doesn't support flash, can't do shtttt with an idevice.

But Android is open, you choose what your android phone is going to look like, you can download anything you want, you can do what you want.

Seen apple's new ios 7? Sad copy of Windows,Microsoft and Android features, even inspired of old Jailbroken apps from cydia.

Apple copies what's the best right now, and what people like.

How much does a dev license cost for Ios? 100$/Year and for Android? Free developping, testing and to publish it on the market a ONE time cost of 25$ for a publisher account
Apple lacks support for their devs, and their conditions and stuff to dev are annoying af -Developpers.

Saying its bad is just LOL:

I don't care who copies who, nobody does, never will. The thing that matters is what is in your hands, the more the better.
No matter who copies from who, in the end it's still the market's decision. Nobody gives a **** when buying a new cell phone thinking 'Apple is better, but it copied XYZ from Android so I'll get an Android'.
It's not about promoting developers, if you think money is an issue, then you're wrong. It's about the SDK itself, the complexibility and security of the system.
"Android is open", too much liberty gets always abused.

Samsung did beat the heck out of the iPhone 5 with its specs, but yet an iPhone 4S still beats the S4 at applications, runs smoother, faster and better. Whereas my friend's S4 simultaneously crashes on high GPU usage, and you can't blame the specs on that part.

Ozzy_Magus 09-05-2013 10:16 PM

Totally agree with you, its all about optimisation, but you can't compare it, I mean you can't just say its bad or not open for developpers, because Android is Google, yet it ain't like Apple.
Do you know how many different companies use Android as their mobile device operating system? And all their devices have different hardware.
You can't compare it, apple produces apple ***, whereas Anyone can use android on their phone, the only problem there will be is the optimisation, and if its gonna run smoothly etc...

But 2012&2013 have proved that this problem is solved, android has evolved, and I have a gs3, prob like. 4-5 ppl max at my school have a gs3/gs4/N2/ all the others have iPhones (no joke), and my best friend constantly complains about how his battery drops so fast, apps crashing and all that ***.
Yet I haven't encountered a single problem on my S3, and I'm using it 24/7, have 5 pages with a shtton of widgets, (TouchWiz) and android runs smooth on it. Certainly ain't flawless like Ios, but iOs has nothing on it, so it has no reason to lag or whatever, because apple makes both the phones, owns their market, and their os.

Android=Google
So developpers have to go trough goolge, etc...
Google delivers the latest updates to their flagship devices, then to other manufacturers. Then it takes time to bring updates (mostly all about omptimisation, since its the only problem with android) on their own devices.
My s3 is on 4.2.2, runs flawlessly, I know I'll soon be getting 4.3 and then 4.4 and 5.0, and it'll just improve. That's all I wanted to say.
What you were saying is the past.

My only problem with apple being that their devices are a rip off, for what they can do. 800$ for a device running iOs? That's just a bad joke.

Johnaudi 09-06-2013 06:32 AM

Money is not a big issue while buying an mobile device, I would spend a couple thousands just to buy one that would last a couple years. My brother bought an S3 a couple months back, and it stopped loading certain applications, we updated, then the applications started working again but slower. I but an iPhone 4 like 2 years ago, and it still runs flawlessly with jail broken apps, low on member (12 GB used) and some other stuff.

Apple isn't premium quality or anything lol.
What does it cost to produce an iPhone 4? 70$ and gets sold for 500-800$.
The s3 or s4 costs 200-230$ to produce, so yes, money is a problem here.
I speak for both hardware specs and os.
Seen the new iphone 5c ("Low cost" 300$, I laughed my ass off on the specs, compared to the new nexus 5. Price,Os,Hardware.(3-0)
Apple's os is smooth, and its got a nice package, but seriously, their devices are trash.
Any android phone smashes any iPhone, look around the web, IMO the so said war between iOs and Android is non existent, apple's been out of competition since years, really.
Why buy less for more when you can get cheap and better.

Because people have the money, and just because you say Android is better than Apple-Devices (naming dumb, unlogical reasons without anything solid in it), it must not be true, sorry. Don't try to explain a developer like John what to do and what not if it is about this, the Writing Style of Random capital Letters does Make you Look Really stupid, by the way.

Lmfao, I was just replying to his "android is considered a bad os in general", just because he's a developper doesn't mean what he says is 100% reliable.
And android is considered the exact opposite of what he said, its just that either you like apple, or you like android.

Because apple doesn't need it, whereas the android OS uses more energy, which points out how poorly the power is being used on the second OS.
Just FYI, Chinese devices are cheap because the hand-pay fee is low in their country due to the high population, and sometimes something made in china is better than the ones in the USA product-wise.

Android doesn't need pricy hardware, which I think is what you were implicitely talking about, else why would it matter? Better os=need better hardware.
Yet better hardware doesn't mean price, seen Xiaomi recently? They sold 150,000 Mi2's in 1 min and 43 secs, full hd quad core smartphone under 250$(I dont remember the price, but it was cheap afffff)
And the fact, that you agree apple doesn't need 2gb of ram for example, comes back to my main, how do you justify apple devices having More/the same price as those new-gen killer smartphones like the S4? They can't, its a pure rip off.

And android has flash and all that stuff, so ofc, the ipad's 512 mb of ram would on an android os be a lag fest, that's logic lmfao.

Like saying toyota doesn't need a ferrari motor, lmfao. Ofc it doesn't, I mean toyota...

Stop right there, you're wrong.

Just to get out of that blurry point for you, I have nothing against the S4's stats, I actually think they're pretty awesome for a smartphone.
The fact that it is 'android' just ruined my point of view. People bought S4's thinking just because the stats are better, means they are better, and they are all wrong.
It's like giving you a 24GB RAM, GeForce GPU, i7 Extreme CPU in a computer, and installing Windows 98 on it, got my idea?

He thinks its like that, but both of them have to be one with eachother. Which is called optimisation.
iOs is very limited, doesn't support flash so it doesn't need 2gb of ram like a s4 to run the latest android version (android phones don't need 2gb ram tho, just if they'd want to use the latest version of droid os).
Apple's apps are so smooth-lag free because iOs doesn't run anything that could produce lag or anything....
Software+Hardware+Optimisation=good phone

A mercedes needs a benz motor right? But you need a benz to put a benz motor on it.
Same applies to apple/android.

On the vice versa my friend, it uses a lot to run it's OS.
Back in the early 99, 512MB was ALOT for the win98 (which let's it run smoothly).
The principle of this example was to show that, each OS runs at certain specs... As I can see, with all these specs, the S4 still has buggy times in certain games/applications, even in default applications.
Hope you got my point of view.

Which comes back to my point that with apple, its all about the price,
They sell you low-end (not in therm of quality, but more like additional, better hardware) hardware, and price their devices in the same/above other smartphones like android rofl.
Apple:800$ for a 1gb ram phone (iP5)
Others: 250-800$ for 1-2gb ram phones (S2,S3,S4,Htc One,LG optimus series, Nexus 4&5)
The nexus kills the iphones in price/hardware. 200$ for the 4 and more or less 300$ for the new one (not out yet)
Yes, apple ripps you off.
