SNES GAME RECOMENDATIONS
 

Recently got my hands on a SNES , now all I need it games. Recomendations? Nothing to expensive, but something good.

from that list Chrono Trigger, Earthbound, Earthworm Jim...Metroid and Zelda of course.
I have no idea about the availability for physical copies of these games though.

Super Metroid (never really played it, but everyone circle jerks over it so it must be decent)

Killer Instinct (if you're into fighters)

There are other games that used to be good but no point in playing on the SNES. For example, Street Fighter 2 was awesome but you can play it on so many platforms that there's no point in opting for the SNES version. There's also Mortal Kombat but who really played those because they were "good"? If you have another person to play with, Kirby Super Star and Battletoads & Double Dragon would be worth checking out.

I actually thought they would be pretty expensive because they must be hard to come by nowadays. :0

Some games were so popular that it's easy enough to come by their cartridges. However some were great games but kind of unheard of... that's where it'll get very expensive, very fast.

Chrono Trigger, used @ amazon: $70

Sadly because of how expensive some games are going to get because of their rarity(even ****ty condition used) you're going to be missing out.

My suggestion? Start visiting every local yard sale you find. Also check out Salvation Army and Thrift Stores

Huh? What are you trying to say? They're cheap? Or expensive? Because someone wants 200$ for a used version of earthbound.

Or just download an emulator and play all this **** for free.

Who the hell charges $200 for a game you can get online for free.

I think some people believe there's a "feeling" by playing on the SNES and not on a pc.

Super Mario All-Stars

It's a very fun compilation of various Mario games, some even with upgraded graphics from the NES.

I have the + version that includes Super Mario World. That would be a nice find but is probably rather pricey :P.

Only recently did exact emulation get popular. If you know the SNES game, it sounds nothing like the real thing on ZSNES and ****.

Chrono Trigger, best game I've ever played in my entire life.
