I'll have to go buy an iTunes card tomorrow then :0! I've never played Minecraft on the computer, so this will be a first. :P

$6.99 or $9.99 is actually pretty expensive...

Dang, I'm a little disappointed that you won't be able to connect to the Graalians Minecraft server through your iPhone.

Would be awesome to connect to other servers. Also it should get the other modes. Than I´d buy it.

Its just creative mode. Thats it. No survival, no adventure no gameplay elements, no nothing. Just minecraft classic with some 1.8 terrain generation thrown in.

But without survival mode, it's pretty much just Lego. Survival mode is the only mode I play. :(

Mojang is obviously too blind to realize what the players actually want. In ways it's similar to Graal.

true but I think they're trying to reach out to a broader audience and give them a taste of minecraft and hope people will like it enough to buy the fully featured pc version (on their computer)

Me too, I knew it would be better than Minecraft pocket edition anyways.

I hate the controls on the game. Its harder and more stiff than eden :(

After playing the app for a couple of hours, i can give you all the details lol o.e

Creation mode
-Only has the 36 original 1.2 version blocks (Ladders,Slides,etc.)
-Creating is really difficult. Not joking.
-The controls are stiff. The jump button is in the middle of the D-Pad (Making it harder to jump and walk forward at the same time).
-You can invite players to see your maps

Doesn't have the following
-Pickax/Sword
-Creatures
-Survival mode
-Piston
-Redstones
-Customization
-Mods
-Other good stuff that Minecraft PC has

Overall: Don't buy it until new updates come out
Recommendation: Get Eden. Its easy, more customization, and you have more freedom. Its so much better

Or, buy it now, in anticipation of future updates, and don't waste your money on Eden.

Whats the point? They're not gonna bump the price up. Its $6.99 permanently. And what are you gonna do? Hold the app till something good shows up (which will be like in months)?

And Eden is awesome. Don't you dare diss on it. Its totally worth my 2 dollars!

Eden isn't any better than MC Pocket Edition, and you can get that for $6.99 now and use it instead of getting Eden for $1.99 now, and then spending another $6.99 in the future.

the app still needs more improvements/updates i dont expect too much since its in alpha but so far its pretty fun if your the creative type of guy

Well, they WERE rushed to complete it, so i don't blame them.

How is that different from any other minecraft feature? :0

It's like, let's say, you have to program a whole game. The deadline is 4 weeks. It was kinda like that since they had to get it for the release of Minecraft. Also, notice how it says at the top corner (I forget which one) "Alpha 2.3" or some crap like that.

But- they half assed- just about every feature- and never returned to 'em o_o
They added a few good things- like having passive mobs run when hit which allows it to be more immersive (except they run randomly instead of away from you). But as much as people wanted wolves, those buggers are better off dead, the moment you tame one, it will do everything within it's power to either kill you, or kill itself. lol

But relating to immersion, the binary weather (on | off) and swamp biomes- can break immersion immediately, at which point you're not longer playing the game, you become self aware that you're just some guy sitting at a computer trying to enjoy your lonely life. :[

Also- I hate invisible walls, worst thing you can do to break immersion. Glad minecraft doesn't have those.

Don't expect the same experience as you would on your PC.
If you've never played MC before then this might give you ask taste of what it's like.
But even then for $6-7 I would wait until they put out some more updates before buying it.

I've played Minecraft before, and we're already planning our wedding, but that's exactly what I'm doing. It's a painful wait though... ;o;
