Looks amazing as expected.
Can't wait to see GTA online. At the end of the video you see like a bunch of people with overhead names running around in the city.

I saw this and pooped myself.

Is anyone getting it for xbox360? I would love to play with some of you guys, maybe even start our own group or something. Would be fun.

For some peculiar reason I've never played Grand Theft Auto before. I preordered this game for the Xbox 360 a few months back and now I definitely know I have something to look forward to! This game looks like it could easily conquer my obsession for Far Cry 3.

The game looks fantastic. Although it could just be the vertical slice, making it look better. Guess we'll see, I'll be playing on the ps3 this September.

I have GTAIV on the 360, so I'm going to get GTAV for PS3.

Lol it would probably be better on a PS3 anyway. The game looks awesome but I don't know if I should get this or AC:black flag.

You better bloody be joking. Running and driving were such a pain in 4

really wasn't that bad. i liked that the cars had weight in gta4. the only boring part was being knocked out of your car after a collision.

the worst part of the game was the cover system and auto-aim (the way it changes targets made it way too unresponsive), made gun fights drag on way too long.

The gunfights shown in the game footage trailer seems to show that they improved that aspect. I agree with you there, but then again, they probably had their best people playing the game for the trailer.

It takes me ages to get into a car on GTA 4

nah when they show game trailers they usually have someone mediocre playing. it gives it broader appeal.

I don't think they ever showed a gameplay trailer before release for GTA before though. Maybe I am wrong, but I think I read that on IGN or something.

I didn't, I felt the game played a bit too stiff to enjoy, a massive flip from the older games. Saint's Row really nailed the more enjoyable mechanics in contrast to GTA4, where driving/moving/doing anything felt like a chore.

GTA 4 felt very boring and uninspired to me for some reason, its hard for me to pinpoint why.

GTA 5 seems to be more interesting from this video though.

My PC is the worst possible thing to run this on and my family can't even afford an $80 upgrade.... Darn it but I want this so bad >.< I have GOT to get a PS4 by next March....

I thought GTA V wasn't coming to next gen consoles?

GTA5 is for 360 and PS3.
Nothing has been announced or even rumored for next gen or PC.

GTA IV & Probably V are less funnier than Mickey's House on TV.

Do you really think Rockstar would just completely ignore the next-gen consoles, especially since they lack backwards compatibility? Gta 5 might not be in the launch window, but if R-Star knew what they're doing they'd probably get it on PS4 and Xbox One eventually.

And since when has a GTA game not been on PC?

GTA doesn't announce that they're doing a PC release and always does it like 6 months after the console one.

GTA3 was fun when I played it, but I can't really go back and play it that much anymore. GTA:SA was amazing though, but I was mostly talking about the controls/physics/mechanics :P Pure arcady fun.

gta4 had superior physics, controls, and mechanics. the only thing it lacked was being able to quickly shift through targets and flying out of cars in high speed crashes. im sure it's just a matter of personal interest/preference but i liked how the rides in gta4 had a lot of weight to them. it made it feel more realistic.

gta:sa wasn't bad by any means, i played it a ton.

Well it certainly had more realistic physics, but like you said whether that's superior/better is preference. I enjoyed the more arcade-like physics more than the realistic ones, it was just more fun for me.
