Worst Words in the English Language
 

You know those words. The words that make you cringe every time you hear them. The words that make you want to shove daggers in your ears.

My most hated word is "literally". Everyone uses this word wrong, and no one uses it correctly. I hear this so much it makes me want to punch people in the throat: "I literally died laughing." No you ****ing didn't, or else you wouldn't be talking at this moment you ****head. "Literally" means: actually, or without exaggeration. It's inserted before almost every verb and it pisses me off to no end. It's almost the same reason I hate the word "ironically". I also hate portmanteaus like "redonkulous", "guesstimate" and my favorite: "irregardless". "Irregardless" is NOT a ****ing word, "regardless" is the correct word under any context. If you're using it to sound smart, stop. Also, the phrases "dafuq" and "murica" are also terrible and I picture anyone saying them as neckbeards living in a basement frequenting Memebase and FAILBlog.

Lazy people use "do" in place of a verb. Makes you have to think of what verb the speaker is trying to say.

Squeak, squish, and blob.
Can't stand them.

Every time I use this word (god forbid), it just sounds wrong...

People using "like" wrong. Although I may occasionally do it without noticing, it really annoys me.

Also when people say "innit"

I just can't say or hear that word with a straight face.

My most hated word is "*****cent." Why? It's because if you put a space in it then it becomes "Pube Scent" it just makes me laugh.

Cellar: Can you just say basement or downstairs instead?

Swag: I wanna punch everyone in the face who uses this word.

Hater: If you say anything along the lines of "I don't like this song", everyone automatically thinks you're a hater. It's as if you're not allowed to have an opinion.

Like: There are 2 formats I can't stand this word in.

"I couldn't believe Noreen. I went up to her and was like--and then she was like--but I was like--but she didn't care. She went on like--and I was furious. So I was like--but just in the middle, Dan walked in and was like--I couldn't believe he sided with Noreen. They both needed to know something. So then I was just like--"

"Well, it's like, he's ,like, Superman, like, you know? Cause he like, ran up and like, saved the day."

I think you understand how both formats are annoying.

One of my friends puts a 'nya' at the end of every thing she says. I want to slaughter her every time I hear her say a sentence.

My least favourite word is mcdonalds I literally gain 2 kg everytime I hear the word.
