Xor released a test run Boss, Giant Blob, which he placed a warper for 100 people to enter. Goal is simple, just kill the Giant Blob, but it takes awhile for it to die even with everyone damaging it. If you applied enough damage to the Giant Blob, you receive a Slimy Spoils once it dies, which then goes to your inventory. Once you use it, you receive a random hat or gralats. You can only recieve Slimy Spoils every 12 hours.

He did door test runs twice.

Xor then began placing the Giant Blob in Swamptown for everyone and to be able to receive a prize for killing it. After a while, he removed the Boss, thanked everyone for participating in the test run, and announced that you'll be seeing them in the near future.


Hopefully this encourages more varities of "Bosses".

Looks cool, except when they use the term "future" I feel like it'll be months, a year, or never. I'm surprised iClassic doesn't have more bosses. They can really make a game. Except you shouldn't be able to die and continue. I'm going to quote Kirito, "A game where you can die is too easy."

No but every douchebag that likes Delteria feels the need to spam other threads not related to Delteria in any way, announcing just how wonderful and glorious it is. You're not Delteria, but you leave a horrible taste in my mouth that makes me not want to go anywhere near Delteria.

Classic is a poo stain.

It's gotten really annoying on the forums as of late, but you kind of just have to ignore it now and let it play it's course. This same exact scenario played out prior to the release of Zone. Although it is annoying when they post it on the Classic forums, you shouldn't get too worked up over it. Just let history repeat itself.

ehh? and this is going to be added to Swamptown? Where 5738563757 noobs will be there twice daily to complete the challenge? Cant this new boss be put in a client-side cave where you cant see other players? A. You cant see 5738375738385 other players so itll reduce tons of lag.. B. You dont have 573857375838739 noobs in the way. C. The boss itself will he client side, so it isnt as laggy as other baddies.

I only got gralats. I heard that other peeps got bombs.

I agree with Ryan for once I don't want to see a boss any where near a tower they are all ready over crowded and we dont need more noobs blocking the door at swamp tower trying to get in when they don't have a tag. If your going to put it there fine but in an area in the south west corner out of the way. Or just drop it in graal city refuge area and let it eat all the ppl over crowding the area.

my bad it was twilit. any who. any ideas how the new boss baddies are going to work? Is it going to be like a random event every so often? I don't see how it could be set up as a quest if it has to be hacked on by a lot of players.

Anybody have any idea how long it takes to respawn?

Idk if the plan was completely thought out on this one. There has been a steady pool of pking, and whiners standing around asking when the blob will re-spwan in swamp all day. This new thing has once again shown the stupidity and greed that haunts classic.

Would it have killed XOR to make the blob pop up in random spots on the mar so there isnt a big pool of players just sitting in the swamp area.

Yet everyone complains that Delteria has their own website and their own forums. I'm not saying you complain personally, but its not behavior Delteria staff has perpetuated by any means.

I caint wait to try defeating it!

I never accused any individual or any group of people of doing this, but it gets annoying when it floods over into threads that have nothing to do with Delteria.

I really wish the boss wasn't an oversized slime w/the same attacks. I still like it nonetheless.

Lol I waited at the spawning point for 2 hours got killed 3 times by the same guy cuz I broke up with ash and still didn't get to see the blob
