"Stolen" Hat
 
So yesterday, I received a hat from Ezio for winning an event. This hat had been made by Tpugman, a GFX staff of iClassic. Later the same day, this Tpugman was hired by Latte. It was found out, around an hour later, that the Tpugman was an impostor [Xor (iClassic's manager) told Latte], and he was shortly fired. After cussing out PerfectDark, I realized this: if the fake Tpugman had given Ezio permission to distribute his hat to a player for winning an event, wasn't the hat stolen?

I am the only player that has this hat, other than the impostor's (banned) iOS account.

I would like it replaced with another event hat, if possible.

Either way, I just don't want any of the iZone staff getting into trouble over a stolen hat.

I will look into the logs for any tpugman hat givings for yesterday. Email the zone email with your account and this situation. (to make things all official and I can get your account in the process) I will see what I can do based on the amount of hats given out.

The hat was added by Ezio.

EDIT: Got my ID from Failboat, sent the email. Failboat has also said he will look into it.

You guys shouldn't have fired the fake Tpugman. I'm dying to know what he would have done for his first assignment.

I talked to the actual Tpugman on iClassic, he actually said that he felt bad I didn't get his finished version of the hat, which I found amusing, as the graphic was stolen in the first place.

Yes, there are a ton of stolen, + copy righted hats given out as prizes. For example, I was given the era golden helmet, all that was edited was wings on it (stolen from another hat). As for copyright, I currently have a mario hat.

There is a version of it sold in a shop on iEra (ninja place, next to mafia zone i believe) that has this hat without wings. If this was not a 1k hat, it was defidently still stolen/edited. The wings also look like they're stolen from those shock wing hat things.

Haha, I just didn't want a stolen hat. I was unaware of the fact that iZone was chock full of stolen hats at the time of posting this thread.

Hats can't be stolen, anything uploaded onto the Graalonline database is theirs. Therefore, any server may have anything they want from whatever server they see fit.

both hats were based on M.Bisons hat from street fighter.

The TF2 hat was based off of M.Bison's. The hat in Zone was based off of the TF2 hat (the file has "team captain hat" written in it). So yeah, both of them are M.Bison's hat :P
