AUCTION PRICES NOT FAIR
 

Ok im getting tired of auctions i saw things in it today that made me furrious. Redboy won a freakin shipka for 40k some other dude won a legand of era sword for 8k? Like wtf why do people who win auctions get such better deals like people spend 50k on a gun thats better then the bar witch is 200k? Likes its not right its ridiculous i have every non auction gun yet get destroyed by all these items its messed up -.- the bar should get a serrious buff -.- for its price it blows

They shouldn't even auction stuff that are currently in stores...it just isn't right.

Sorry that you lost. It is pretty much luck when you have enough money. But I do agree, normal store items should not be in auctions.

I thought shipka auctions were in the ancient past. I must be mistaken then.

they have been having a ton of auctions and they always cant repeat items so umbrellas and superfarts and souizens are all gone. they once did a KSG shotgun and someone ended up paying 85k for it lols

No the souizen needs to be nerfed its speed can outspam the bar and you can use souizen in spar but you cant use bar without being called a "bar feg" lol nerf the rate of fire to like a stens. Someone fking payed 4k for an op gun -.- nerf it if your gonna sell it that cheap..

The Legend of Era Sword isn't the greatest melee ever and it only heals 2 health points at a time. I rarely use mine. And ever since the donkeys arrived I've had a sh*t load of candy at my disposal.

These are called AUCTIONS, if a item in store that you can buy is sold it will go cheaper. one difference is though that only ONE person gets the item. Stop crying that you lost.

The 8k for the Legend of Era Sword was an exaggeration I bet lol.

I agree and try not to! Honestly, I don't think we are supposed to as it devalues items in stores.

What would you pay for (this is an example from st. patricks day)?:
A spd dagger that is like 2k or something in the shop or buy it for 30k in auctions?
The reasonable price to get it at would be the cheaper right?

This is just like the example except vice-versa. Anyone can buy the items in stores at any time (depending if they're limited or not). Yet you can only get 2 a week at auctions, let alone a month depending how often they auction them off. It seems like they are trying to make prices cheaper so less people will complain. But it also seems that people will complain about the prices being cheaper in auctions than in the store. I'm seriously confused why everyone has to complain, they aren't forcing you to buy itunes. You either use itunes or you work for it, otherwise don't bother trying to get the item.

If staff thinks it will devalue items in the store, they need to take it off the list. Easy enough.

Only items that were NEVER sold by shops should be auctions.

What about the items that will never be sold in shops again? It's basically the same thing in being rare.

Yeah, only old stuff that is no longer in stores, food in varying quantities (maybe not, but it's funny to watch), unreleased items, and soon to be sold items should be auctioned (like how the peacemaker or whatever it's called was).

It is stupid how some admins just auction stuff already in stores, like the shipka, that was just Bull Turd

No they are not gone. To help keep super rare items rare, the auction system limits those items to 2 per week for auction. So, if you happen to miss the auction they are offered in, they cannot be offered for another full 7 days. This prevents saturation of the game with these supers and helps retain their value.

Auctions almost everyday kind of ruins that :P

I find it funny how they didn't allow private auctions but yet snk does them anyway :P Not fair in my opinion but whatever, I'm not gonna stand in auctions all day.

There should be auction items, and then there should be store items. No intermixing.
If your complaint is the fact then there isn't enough items to auction without lowering the rarity of some auction items, why don't you auction off those items that staff members create and "fairly" give to their friends?

Players seem to want auctions daily and it was never intended to be a daily event. There are plenty of items available, it is just the balance of maintaining their value and rarity. There are no items that are made for staff on birthdays anymore and given to friends, that was discontinued.

I didn't mention anything about birthdays. And it's not "discontinued".
Considering how staff giving friends special rares was not allowed in the first place, and when staff did it, I'm sure they didn't get proper approval, I highly doubt rapping the staff team on the knuckles and giving the a harsh lecture will stop anything.

Besides, staff members cannot drop anything besides EC except for auctions. So that means anyone who is giving friends items, is doing it through /openweapons. If they have access to that ability, they can probably do whatever the hell they want and get away with it.

They happen daily now? No wonder this sort of thing happens.

Sorry idk anything about that:/ I haven't given anything but my hat and then only for event prizes! All activity is logged as you know so I have to assume if anyone did something not approved it would be addressed.

You cannot give any item if you're not a high staff, which we rarely do for rewards etc (like the GST rewards, check your inventory guys who played with the top 2!)
And about the private auctions, snk does them for a test purpose, he can't really auction something broken for ~100k (as there might be an error in certain variable).

There we go. Only high staff can give items, meaning when they do give items to friends, they probably get away with it. And if they do get caught, being high staff and all, they just get a little lecture and "Please don't do it again.".

Isn't kind of unorthodox to take a players money for a broken item? Even if it's sold for ridiculously low price.

Sorry I think I made a typo, it's not the item that's broken, it's the new auction system.

Era is Pay to Play, which is it's most unappealing features.

With rich parents, or poor decisions on how to spend your well earned money, you can rule Era with an iron fist.
