How bad is iEra's economy?
 

Hey guys, I'm quite curious at how bad iEra's economy is at the moment.

How do you even determine how good/bad an economy is in a game?

There are items. People are trading them.
The really rare ones are very rarely traded.
It's not like snk is in debt and forcing us to fork over items.

Take Barack obama's economy right now, and flip it on is ass and shove a sword through it. Thats how bad it is.

It's not so much about that.. It's more of the fact that you can literally buy money on iEra that makes me curious of iEra's economical state.

Pick up your newspaper copy off the stand next to the supermarket for more info.

Merchanting for me is pretty good. I made 100k+ gralats basically flipping items :)

Era has an economy? I'd probably guess its worse than any other economy considering guns sometimes cost more than houses irl.

lol, I would say that the economy is bad. People are now figuring out the real worth of items. lol before the tables you could trade a Christmas Syth for a butt load of stuff. Now its worth less than an icy..you may get lucky sometimes and a noob may buy it for something really good. lol I usually go to the 3rd floor of the trade tables to do my trades so no one will bother me and my offer. People that have everything just want shells..like .lol 1000 shells is approx 4.5k. lol only if we could trade actual graalats then we'd see the true price for every item. A common barter could walk in the trade tables with only an icy, and walk out an hour later with 6 icys and a bunch of other stuff. lol, that's why I continue to play this game. I thought I'd quit when I couldn't scam anymore..but lol I'm still able to "illegitimately" ;)

Also, lol tons of people are using my trade tables scam right now as I speak. Nothing is happening to them -_- mhm...

OT- I don't know how to describe it. Gas is $1 a gallon, people buy pencils for $100,000. Some shop owners buy trash and shells for $5 each. No matter how much people clean the street trash is everywhere and anywhere. Shovels break from digging in sand after like 2 minutes. Hats cost like $5000.

Era does not have a form of economy as long as there isn't a direct way to use gralats on other items. Think of it as a barter and trade system for now.

AFAIK you can't trade gralats, so I don't see how there would be much of an economy outside shells and stuff.

half of graals trading before the trading table involved shells so the economy is great :P

There is no economy. There is no total money released or anything like in PC Era. Pc era has 140 mil in circulation if i'm not mistaken. iEra does things alot differently. The money in iEra does not circulate. You buy packs - which is profit for EuroCenter. After you buy the pack. It's just sitting in your statistics, as you can not trade money around. You eventually decide you like the graphics of this item, so you buy the item for, say, ten thousand gralats. There is no such thing as an item being sold out, so you can buy stacked items for a ton more money, but here's the thing. The money you spend does no go back into circulation, it is deleted until you buy more packs. The only real way people obtain cash from others is by trading body parts, shells, trash, etc.

Just stop complaining about economy and play the game for fun

It isn't an economy until gralats can be used directly as trade, but it in a sense is a supply/demand barter system. Tazers are in excess and value will only decrease. I'll assume the SPD Fart put super fart in decline as well.

I can tell you for a fact that this game's economy is screwed beyond belief. I can buy a gun for less than the price of a burrito. You can't tell me that that's correct.
