The golden slime
 

Ok so I'm sure most of you, if not all of you have heard of the legendary golden slime that is rumored to dwell in the uncharted areas of swamptown.

Well i stumbled upon a NPC i had never really noticed, his name was charles and he is in the swamp bar, he describes a rare and mythical golden slime.
I was intrigued and began my hunt to find this elusive creature..Well a few hours after i began, heres what i found.

The golden slime is real, this isn't a joke. It's on the brink of extinction though.

If you look at this one, the detail was obviously taken out, and painted over with colors. and he was a bit too lazy to fill in the outline, as you can see here.

Well as well as that he admits it to being a prank, the golden slime is real.

However, in the one Zoo found, it is a bit green there though. So feel free to be suspicious. ;)

Be suspicious as much as you like, but i assure you. this is no fake.

As much as I keep telling Zoologist, no one will take this, I will back him up here.


He really wanted me to see this slime, and well, I'd be crazy if I didn't. While we gazed off into its beautiful majestic single cell organism existence, it eventually attracted attention. While I was called by a good friend to help UFO for a bit, I had to leave the slime to Zoos tending.

Lol noobs, still looking out for the golden slime? lmao try finding the rainbow slime, it drops a rainbow gralat upon death, worth so much haha.

Obviously fake. Considering the smaller slimes are the ones that drop, it would drop two Gralats! :P

wow weird coincidence.. i was playing around in Swamp near the Gnome Threshold. I was lagging really badly which kinda allowed me to get past the fences. Anyway, i got inside the cave and i pulled some levers and ****. I got disconnect or probably got kicked off the server for being off map because when i came back i was in the unstuck me point. Anyway, i tried getting back in the cave but this weird thing happened. THERE WERE PURPLE SLIMES.

I asked people about it and they said the slimes were still green, SO IM ASSUMING THAT IT ONLY SHOWS ON MY SCREEN AND THAT IT WAS CAUSED BY THE LEVERS THAT I PULLED IN THE CAVE.

Ye olde fabled legend of ye golden slimes, they were thought to be extinct by the time my fathers fathers father was a wee lad. The return of thou golden slimes is a sign, the beginning of the end!

I dough this is real and probably just another troll , think about it ... If all of them just turned purple and gave out purple gralats how over powers it would be ?500 gralats every time u kill a slime .. Yah don't think so

The purple slime thing may be a glitch with him but in the grand scheme of things is fake, the golden slime that me and yogurt and countless others have spoken of is real. and think of it this way, i never thought someone with that horrible of grammar (kirito) existed but they do! so golden slimes must as well.

I know the gold ones are real (I've found one before but it was at air Asia ) also my grammar isn't bad at all it's just that I don't care about it when I'm posting here

I know dog i'm just messin' with ya. but anyways i will continue to look into the golden slime and hopefully get more photographic evidence.

All of you are using different slime gfx lol... But I'd just like to say it is real and have seen it, and I would never say something was real and lead you on to find it if it wasn't.

This one is real... When you killed the big one 2 little ones appeared and they dropped red gralats.

Dino had a color pallet right next to the slime. His hat is golden. Lucky bastard.

dont get too excited.. i never said they dropped purple gralats. They didnt even drop any gralat AT ALL. check the first pic... no gralat

anyway, i fixed that ***. i revoked my account and re installed the app through iTunes. I think my phone messed up when i lagged into the cave because i noticed that the purple swamp pet's colour pallet is similar to the purple slime's.

There is no way a cached file could be swapped, or switched out, unless you were in an unreleased area, and you had just installed the app there, causing a Purple Slim uploaded in the same name to take over the green slime sprites.

Or you tampered around with the cached files.

if the "cache" files were not corrupt then it must be an in-game thing that i stumbled on. maybe a quest.

I never said they were corrupt. Nothing just recolors itself purple avoiding the outline when it goes corrupt.

What kind of quest would that be? The Hallucination quest doesn't sound as cool as you think.

you said that it was impossible for cache files to randomly switch colors so i assumed that you were implying that it was a quest item rather than a glitch related to the cache thingies...

Gold slime? So what. What's it do drop 2 gold gralats every time u find it?if it takes so long to find I'd rather farm the 200 then spend hours looking. Unless it did something cool like if you kill it you gain lvl3 sword for 5 minutes but can't enter towers or spar, or you get some title in your profile that says you found the golden slime, something useful to show off. Otherwise it doesn't matter./rant
