iEra's Annual GST
 

The GST has once again began, leading lots gangs and sparer's into the top of the tourney.
16 Gangs will be participating in the Gang Spar Tournament, and shall be crowned king of the 2nd annual GST. (The gang Magus were last year's emperor's)

There will be 5 players, and the leader, so 6 in total. Every player has the right to play in only one gang to give a chance to the other players.
If you want to start a strategy, I have attached the map's layout.
Let's start with the Prizes, shall we?

Prizes :

The gang that will end up :

• 3rd, will receive a limited GST bronze trophy (for the leader), and bronze medals for the 6 players!
  
• 2nd, will receive a rare GST silver trophy (for the leader), and silver medals for the 6 players!
  
• 1st, will receive a legendary GST golden trophy (for the leader), golden medals for the 6 players, a custom hat they make which can be given to the participating players!

More to that, every player participating (loser or winner), will receive an EC in each round they reach.

As for the Time, please check Complex Spar's roof.

After 3 days of rough gang sparring, the teams have been qualified and the system has chosen them.

Rules :

• Artillery Cannon (AC) and other types of cannons are not allowed.
• Deflecting bullets using Lightsaber, or any type of umbrella is not permitted aswell, but you can use your Bamboo Rod.
• Healing under any type is not possible.
• No Turkey bombs.
• Lagging too hard (using a lag switch, or intentionally) is forbidden, as it does not maintain balance between the two teams.
• The leader will receive 150 HP, as other players will get 50.
• Respect your team.
• Have skills.

I'm ok with a Saturday, it's 4:21pm atm.

I would say this Saturday, everyone has known about the GST by now and most were expecting it Friday. First of all No-one has school saturday. Next it would only be one day behind the original date. Lastly I would say around 4-6EST would work well.

We against Freeze, its gonna be a challenge\!!

Btw the GST should all be on one day, its hard for people to commit multiple times and days.

Ohhh I thought it was my screen acting weird, looked jaggy on mine. But I see now, it was in #5's YouTube video of last year GST.

Oh I've waited a long time for this. Up against Freezd first, wish them the best of luck, alongside all others participating. We got our squad set up, lets see what we can do :)

ill be truthful, no offense at all, but i wonder about freeze. i watched them spar for 30 minutes against some noob gangs once. didnt take pics though

Last year we couldnt use saber because it was OP i agree, but lol... After the nerfs nobody would even think of the risk of using it. The block is just a little slower way to die. About AC... How are we suppose to kill laggers than?

Just stating my opinion is that i dislike the artillery cannon. Its ideally a spamming gun. Now it does work good on laggers

Thankfully ill be at my dads house this weekend, he has comcast wifi which is strong, while my moms wifi sucks really badly. sometimes if im in a base with lots of pbps the game will literally crash. i have to restart my iPad.

:/ my bracket has magus facing NFL in west semifinals, funny rematch, Magus wins that. Freeze vs Hugsbottom in east semifinals, freeze wins, magus wins championship, 2 in a row, goodie

in the east was kinda difficult, DoA vs freeze could really go either way, and whoever wins that i think will faces shinibos of the north, they arent a bad gspar team. But in the Northeast no BIG names, so i kinda random picked. Since Wumbo is also Redboys gang probably the best will go for DoA, not wumbo

So if french chipmunks boosted, Red boy has 2 gangs in gst, it makes 14 not 16 :|

I think Wumbo is owned by a redboy sub account or jace, not sure. im assuming that the frenchies are still in, unless we hear from john soon

The same players won't participate anyways, and they have completely different goals ATM.

Deflecting bullets is not permitted, but blocking them is.

Yes I like the date, it would only be one day behind the original date(Friday). Also I suggest having the GST held all on Saturday, won't work as well on multiple dates. Btw why hasn't any of this news been in game yet? Not like the GST isn't big news or something.

Friendly Tip : Go to mercy gym and get your speed boost before it begins.

I suggest getting a specific time and posting a time on a list of time zones.

Whats the time schedules of the GST?

2 questions
- So the GST is starting tomorrow (Saturday) ?
- Will the whole thing be on one day? Because making different days for different matches would be easier, so every player gets a perfect time for there match, and it won't be as laggy and stuff

I dont get your 2nd question? How will that make less lag? And how will that make a perfect time for each player? Nothing is perfect and its impossible for every era player to be able to be online during gst.

Why is it better to keep it here, less players know about it. It should have been oiffically posted in news before teams were chosen so more people could have a shot at getting in the GST. To late for that though so might as well put the teams and their match times on the news.

^^True. You should atleast put the fixtures of the GST on the news, since more than half of my members didn't even know who we were vsing as they don't go on Graalians.

I was in a hurry, what I meant was

- Since they'd be like a round a day, people would have longer times to get prepared.
- People would find it easier to find the results of which gang beat which gang, instead of all in 1 day.
- Since they'd be 12 players for the one day (6 in each team), you can organize a time for the 12 of them, instead of having every team on the same-day (64 people, like 20 different time zones, making it harder to find a perfect timing)
- Obviously more players would be on Graal Era for the GST, which will create lag and people playing the GST would be disqualified for lagging.
- If it all was on one day, it would be hard since there is 16 gangs, they'd be 8 matches, each one lasting like 30 minutes, which would be like 3-4 hours till it finishes. And this means that it would run over other matches which will cause chaos.

Yeah, this would really help, I know like 20 people who don't have Graalians and their gang is in GST which would help a lot. Either put it on the news, or make a level explaining everything and stuff. Broadcasting wouldn't help since people are on at different times.

I wish that there was a way you could watch the GST rounds, without causing any problems etc lag.

Added guidephrase to time, and an extra rule : 'No Turkey bombs.'

This requires organisation, I'm sure you know that the whole GST cannot be held on one day.

Don't forget to disable ALL ITEMS such as Grenades,Napalm,etc...
-You do not allow ac, so I suppose grenades, etc will not be useable too.

Why is this GST spreadout into multiple weeks? That is pretty lame, not only does the GST lose its hype it also gives certain a longer break.

Also classic holds a GST in one day with over 64 teams(Added mixed gst) so why can't era?
