Could you imagine talking about GraalOnline Classic with your parents? Just one night, sitting there and your mum says "So, what did you do today?" you reply "Oh nothing, just held Sardons for a solid 11 hours straight." Your mum sitting confused with the rest of your family.

Maybe an odd forum post, but I want to hear what you think, and maybe what you would tell your parents/family about your mysterious in-game life. ((Unless it isn't really a secret like mine is.....))

I would probobly be shunned for "wasting my life like your father did". XD Never really thought too much about it before :P

They'd tell me to get a job and that I have no life :).

When I was chosen by Alpho to be a GM on iDelteria back in October (that didn't work out at all, darn it...) my mom suddenly got nearly furious with me for no reason. No matter how much I gave a more than valid argument that Alpho and the rest of the staff were okay, it don't get her to lose her "All people on the Internet are identity-faking homo stalkers" attitude that she had and still has .-.

LOL.

On subject, I can't play Graal anywhere other than my room unless there isn't a living being in the room that's literate. When I did play Graal elsewhere, I remember having to do what I call the "lean". The lean, or the awkward lean I should say, is when you lean back so the person in front of or behind you can't see that you're playing Graal. Whenever someone would walk by me or try and get a glimpse of what I was doing I'd lean away from them to hide the fact I was playing Graal. It isn't something I would tell my buddies irl lol... One time in 7th grade I did, and I got a few people addicted for a while lol. I hope they aren't playing secretively anymore like I am 0_o

My dad knows I play Graal due to him being curious as to how I do pixel art and what for. My parents are actually pretty relaxed, and my dad is into electronics as he is a manager for Logitech so it would not be awkward.

I just make a joke about it with my mom but if she were to see me play it with some of my graal friends she would probably flip.

I used to joke with my guild back then: What if our parents would be on guild chat with us, cursing and making nasty jokes all over the place? Makes me shiver at the thought lol. Or better yet imagine a father and son taking a tower with one another. Awkward bonding.

Lol same. I had a few friends ask me about Graal and I just wouldn't say anything. I don't even say the name Graal. I just described it as "this game on my iPod". And my parents don't usually check what I'm playing anyway. They just tell me to get off my iPod if I've been on for too long.

"Dad, can I please help guard the flag room with you?"
"No, son. It's past your bedtime."
"That's not fair! All my other friends' dads let them stay up to guard the flag!"
"Perhaps you should get better grades at the Onnet school and study more in the Swamptown library and I'll let you come up with me some time."

I was playing in the living room once (which is rare for me), and my mom happened to look at my screen, and she said: "that looks alot like Zelda." I couldn't help but to laugh.

One timeI had graal open on ipad in my room when I got up to use the restroom and I came back to see my dad literally PLAYING graal... like he was laying on my bed acting likehe knew what he was doing. He was like "I'm playin!" and I wanted to scream because it was so like awkward ahhh I was in the battle arena so god knows what he read.. but he must not have cared cause he didnt ask about it

And you are saying some people do not have that same intent when on Graal itself? I just don't understand how you can use kik in the context of a bad thing when in Graal itself, is already notorious for that. Going to kik is like a step down.

If you thought Kik was bad, you should've seen the random match feature FFM had... Oh gosh I wanted to gut myself for skimming through that.

Holy **** that's what I'm talking about. One day out of curiosity I went through it. Omfg I've never seen so many ugly people before in my life. My self esteem sky rocketed that day and so did the mount of bile I lost from throwing up.

Well classic has a more secure way of reviewing guild pictures being uploaded etc. And im not blaming just kik its self... i said kik or something naughty.

one time I made a friend on graal a few years ago that turned out to be a 30 year old guy or around that age. must older than he said he was.
