Could this be done as a melee - Spring Submit
 

Hey I never made a melee before and was wondering if this could be done as a melee? Its a little different in the ways how I used a looping animated gif and I did not use all the position states. I was hoping when you push the action button it could remain moving until action button was released? Maybe the player that gets hit with this they could reuse that "tazer" effect to happen to him/her?

I haven't submitted it yet because I am still tweaking it. I hope it gets chosen?

I think the grab button works that way, if im not misstaken ofcourse.

As long as you make it most directions (sides) i think it will be fine.

Oh crap! After I posted this version I learned there is a 30kb limit to the melee files. I had to pull out 8 frames of the one that is attached here. It won't be as nice with only 7 frames. I guess I will see if chosen.

Ah yes, Stupid me didn't know it had to be "Spring" themed. It didn't say that on the page. I thought the upload page named "Spring Submit" was just a uploading feature released for the Spring only. Like I thought "Spring" stood for a time frame not a theme. Ahhh! I'm so stupid!:P

Change it to water instead of a lazer beam. Spring is usually when it become warmer so a player could be shooting water from their hands! But that may not be quite Era themed. Just a suggestion.

Why is that? You open the gif file in Photoshop and all the gif frames open up on separate layers. Easy Peasy:)

Yes, That's what I was kinda going for. I'm happy you got it. I also was thinking about Luke Skywalker getting his ass shocked off before Vador saved him.

Yeah, I noticed that a little bit too, but I find that animated gifs don't really play at the correct speed in web browsers and Era plays them faster. This animation in After Effects, plays at the correct speed and looks better and doesnt look so much like its coming at you.

I doubt this will even get made anyway because the submit gif image like the attached one shows it out of context and doesn't look like anything good and looks confusing. I really hope it gets considered. Picture it with shown faster movement, lightning sound, and that noob on the receiving end getting that tasered shocked effect. Epic!
