Your Favorite Thing About the Old Days
 

I like how spar wasnt so tryhard and also that it just looked better. Every thing is differnet on iclassic now, cliffs, buildings, etc. Also that everyone was cooler. And better admins (pi, anti, etc). Theres lots more but I dont remember everything. What was your favorite thing(s) about the old iclassic?

Lag used to be a rare problem and now it' a big one. Also, I loved it when it was just all iPhone sparrers.

Lag is a major problem now. And there were better admins, that's true.

Back then admins were respected not hated. Or at least more so than today.

When there was no pk/spar leaderboard that shows how much of a no-life you are.

Graal was fine up til that point.

Seems like it was even more about spars since the leaderboard came out.

Matt said he doesn't give away hats for spar anymore....but it's funny cause Nite gets a new hat every other week

You're both wrong about it being about spars. If it was all about spars there wouldn't be towers. It's not about either of them though. It's mostly a big chatroom.

What I meant was that players will call you a noob if you don't have 5000 spar wins or something. That's what I hate.

I think that's stupid how people classify other people by their stats. If they don't have high stats in spar than maybe they're just not good at spar, but maybe they're amazing at towers. Also, it's harder to learn how to spar when you first start now since a lot of the people who spar today have been here a long time. I can understand classifying stats if you're looking for members to join you're guild for a certain thing, but overall the person should be judged by their personality.

Exactly. Sadly, most of the sparring community classifies people by their spar wins.

I miss back before Zanza had their own part of the treehouse, Because that show of favoritism made me lose all respect for them. And it was nice to not NEED so much money if you wanted something.

Cheap items...ah...

I miss the old spar arena, with the strange training rooms and the gladiator arena. I also miss the fact that guilds fought guilds over territory and rivalry, rather than towers.

And tbh, I'm not classified as a noob and have spar record of 44-40 :D

So many memories haha, when i first joined, guilds didnt exist so we put guild names in our names. Something i liked a lot about old iclassic was mainly just how new and mhsterious it was.. It kind of got repetitive and it doesn't have the same "magical" appeal ,if you will. I used to guild spar a lot though, but it's always empty now, so i guess that's something i miss about Graal... Lol.

I miss when you walked into a random house or room and a whole bunch of people from a clan yelled at you to get out of their base

YESS! <3 Omg, my clan was called "NinjaStarClan" and our base was in the room under Sister Gertrude haha

It still is...you just have to reinstall the game several times...and turn off nicknames, music, sounds, animations, and whatever else you can... Well, maybe not for sparring.

My first clan's base was in the burger refuge but I quit immediately when I learned you had to put the tag in your name because I wanted to keep my name short. Then I made a clan with Zero G.

Yeah all that was done, It still made movement slow and bothersome. My second generation broke down so It's PC for me. :D
