Attn: A New Demonium
 

As of today, Demonium is under new ownership/management for an undefined period of time. The old owner/manager KillerX has resigned due to Family Issues and has given control of the project to me. He may or may not choose to return to the head once his situation is clearer.

This being said, I have opened this thread as a main hotspot for staff to post announcements, hirings, and other such server-related topics. Please forgive us for the multiple threads previously opened for Demonium.


Graphics Team Hirings

We are hiring roughly 3-5 Graphics Staff.
Applications must consist of 3-5 pieces.
If we are intrigued by your work, we will send you an email back, giving you a specific project to draw up.
If you are not hired, your graphics will not be used without permission.
If you create this project well, we will then notify you of your hiring.

If you are not hired, we will send you an email saying so, as we are aware of how nerve-wrecking it is not hearing anything.


Levels Team Hirings

We are hiring 2-3 Levels Staff.
Applications must consist of 5 pieces.
2 inside levels, 2 outside levels, and 1 level of your choice.
The tileset will be attached below.
If you are not hired, your levels will not be used without permission.
If you are hired, we will send you an email telling you so.

If you are not hired, we will send you an email saying so, as we are aware of how nerve-wrecking it is not hearing anything.


Gani Team Hirings

We are hiring 1-2 Gani Staff.
Applications must consist of 2 of your own ganis.
If you are not hired, your ganis will not be used without permission.
If you are hired, we will send you an email telling you so.

If you are not hired, we will send you an email saying so, as we are aware of how nerve-wrecking it is not hearing anything.


Special Hirings


Guns Admin

This is a very volatile position, but not too critical.
We are hiring 1 Guns Admin.
Guns Admins must be able to draw, gani and script their guns.
They should be able to work with melees too.
Applications must consist of a gun you drew, the ganiing of the gun, and the script for it.
If you are not hired, your gun will not be used without permission.
If you are hired, we will send you an email telling you so.

If you are not hired, we will send you an email saying so, as we are aware of how nerve-wrecking it is not hearing anything.


Sounds Admin

We are hiring 1-2 Sounds Admins.
Applications must consist of 3 sounds you created.
1 must be a happy tune, 1 a sadish tune, and 1 a upbeat clubbing tune.
If you are not hired, your sounds will not be used without permission.
If you are hired, we will send you an email telling you so.

If you are not hired, we will send you an email saying so, as we are aware of how nerve-wrecking it is not hearing anything.

There is almost nothing on the tileset x.x
You need way more stuff.
There is like no detail :p

I cropped out some parts, as a precautionary measure.
Try to minimize chances of someone taking parts of our tileset and using it elsewhere.
Just being cautious.

Is there any way to play on Demonium yet?

You can access it via Graal V6, you download it at WWW.graalonline.com.
Go to downloads.

Once you open it you'll have to make an account (if you didn't already) and a screen with worlds/news will pop up. On the bottom left corner of that there will be a search box. In that type, "Demonium". But I advise you don't go on our server er because almost all our tiles got ruined or messed up somehow, but it's been that way since KillerX left. I'll be making lots of new things for the server so we can bring things back to normal. But, if any Graphics artist want to apply (Not beginners please) than that would be great!

Announcement

As head of our Graphics Team, Shiz will be taking all Graphics applications from now on.
He will post his email and any further details later.
You can still send graphics applications to me, but I'd rather if you sent them all to Shiz.

I did that and the tileset was screwed up a bit. I even tried it on a brand new pc and the same thing happened

Sorry but that, we'll fix it soon. I'll be on all weekend hooking up graphics and sorts, You can inbox me ideas or just post them here.


EDIT: @Ryan, In my last post I gave warning about the screwed up tilesets, KillerX might've done it but I honestly don't know. Were fixing it Ina bit

For the ones planning on applying for graphics team (Information in signature), Make a statue of yourself, something like this. If you can't than I'll make it (no biggy). I just want statues of all the Graphics staff to put some inspirational effort into the server. (To show what our Graphics team is made of.)

The statues should look something like this.

In response to the situation with PRs, I'm aware they aren't even remotely needed in this early stage of development.
However, they both have skills other developmental areas, and I'd like to give them an opportunity to grow.
Aqua is somewhat handy with Ganis, and Shaymus with levels.

Levels(LAT) get update level and warp rights Nothing more rw levels /* and rw levels /*/*
GFX(Graphics) get warp and in folder options they get rw levels /* and rw levels /*/* because the graphic images are in that folder
Gani Team get rw levels /* and rw levels /*/* warp and set own attributes
SFX get rw levels /* and rw levels /*/*
Developers and NAT should have warp set own attributes, warp and rw Weapons /* and rw weapons /*/* nothing more the Admins of every Position should let you know when hiring a person, they shpould NEVER get change rights or Ban not even "PR"

oh and a black list (person who should never be hired) Rachel_Angel ,Taylor , Vlad1/Vlad and whomever you put on it.

Don't make the server look bad by putting this on the thread.
By the way KillerX, you should rethink what YOU'VE done.
I've managed to put together a more suitable staff team then you had previously hired (and fired), among others things.

However, if you wish, I will resign happily. I've had plans to create a server myself, where I won't get fired for letting staff hone their skills by leveling off in the distance, and I'm positive 80% if not the whole staff team would join me.

Your move mate. Saves me heartache either way.
