Runescape 2007 coming back!
 

So recently jagex decided to host a poll to get the 2007 server back. Theyve already reached 50k votes, which means the 2007 server WILL come back.

I saw this on facebook, i'm so excited! I'm tired of the game Runescape has changed into.

It seems like too many spinoffs, first classic and now this. The update path they've taken since 2007 is good, i don't know why people want it reverted. I also heard they're going to take a new update path off 2007 so it's stunting the development team really.
Though, 2006-07 was a good year for RS, will be playing it.

Hmm, I really hope that this vote poll hits atleast 500k votes, though I doubt it it will happen.

You guys got the e-mail too? Well, I think that the transition would be pointless. Runescape was in its prime, back in the day, but bringing it back will yield nothing but dry disappointment.

What made the game great was being a kid, and having all your friend's playing too.

I've discovered it around 2002-2003, but i quit around 2007-2008 if im correct. One reason was that my pc couldn't handle the gfx (yea, it was a real ****ty pc). So after a few years my cousin showed me the game, and so much changed. i tried playing again, but i had no idea what to do.

I'm glad that they're bringing the 2007 server back, everything was so much simpler back then.

It's a great idea since people who want their nostalgia feeling can get it back while having the current runescape eoc severs

2006 was when i first started playing i think, and up until 2009-2010, i used to love it so much but then pvp got nerfed with the damn barrier and not able to attack higher/lower levels.

Also Grand Ex ruined my chances of getting lots of free stuff111

Finally, with the 2006 version, prepare for more rs scamming videos since the trade ****s gone xD

This is why i quit jagex's games, they're so god damn centered around pay to play that they treat heir free to play players like crap and don't give them anything in return for their play time. Free players pay for other things for jagex, but do they get anything, even a say? No. I will not be playing this game, nor will i be playing any of jagex's other games. Honestly Im fine with sitting on rs dungeoneering and being useless because i cant afford to get a membership on some dumb ass, no-life MMO. It was good when i was a kid, now it just sucks now that i know the truth about jagex.

Only bought membership once and i had no idea what to do.

Sweeeeet, I rememver I used to love that game, but it just got worse after the grand exchange, so I quit shortly after.

Runescape sucks but I support any game reverting to more nostalgic times. It's too bad it can't happen to Graal.

Chaotic gave me some free stuff on RS, but RS has never been anything more than an hour killer for me...not that addictive anymore.

I'd go back If I hadn't gotten scammed 25mil last time I started playing again lol.

2007 Servers are back but only for members.

Yeah, my only downside to becoming a member was that from what i heard the members side of the world is really confusing sometimes. Plus the claims of the members community being much more nice is entirely false. Members are really uptight and have a superiority complex towards free players, ive often seen members go on f2p servers just to rub their memberships in free players faces.

Maplestory was so hard it took me two months just to reach lvl 30 back in 2006, and I just got back into it with my level 30 2 months and I'm level 120. Too easy now? And then fourth job lowered from lvl 120 to 100? Maplestory is getting to easy...
