Gameboy Advance Games

Okay, so what's your most favorite game boy advance game. Not GBC, not DS, but just the good old GBA. I just jailbroke my iPod and got an emulator for that and my computer and I'm super intrigued and excited that I can do all of this again.
List your favorite gba games here. thanks.

Zero02 02-09-2013 05:10 AM

How did you forget the very first Mario and Luigi RPG?

Kiwi 02-09-2013 05:33 AM

Minish Cap, Pokemon Fire Red

Tyler 02-09-2013 05:35 AM

I can't really choose a favorite, but I loved:

-Sonic Battle
-Kirby Nightmare in Dream Land
-Pokemon Ruby/Fire Red

Andy 02-09-2013 05:38 AM

Advanced Wars

Rexx 02-09-2013 05:40 AM

Oh what a surprise, Pokemon.

Fire Emblem.
One of the best tactical RPG's ever made. No joke.

T-10a 02-09-2013 06:34 AM

-Astro Boy:Omega Factor. Loved that game when I was little. Betcha never heard of it. It's more for fans of the series, but was amazing at the time.
-Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. My copies of the games' internal batteries ran dry a while ago :(
By the way, I never owned a Game Boy Advanced. they were all played on my DS Lite back in 2007 :D

PoeticFolly 02-09-2013 06:43 AM

Thanks, guys. This is all great.

Sucks for you, my battery in my GBC Link's Awakening and Pokemon Red/Blue are still going strong :)

PoeticFolly 02-09-2013 06:46 AM

I use my iPod for my GameBoy now. The battery on it goes out really quickly on it really too. Which sucks. But I always have a charger near hand. Now I have this emulator on my laptop, so I probably won't ever leave home.

Admiral 02-09-2013 09:12 AM

Pokemon Emerald.
The Urbz: Sims in the City
Crash Fusion and Spyro Fusion

Also, since you play on an emulator you could try using the randomizer when you play Pokemon. IMO it makes it a lot more fun. :)

MementoJoker 02-09-2013 09:18 AM

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
BEST GAME EVER. IT'S BEEN 10 YEARS AND I'M STILL PLAYING THIS ON MY ANDROID GBA EMULATOR.
Okay seriously now, I've beaten it over 10 times and I still play it because of how awesome this is.

HappyCat123 02-09-2013 01:11 PM

DBZ: Legacy of Goku 2
Advance Wars
Advance Wars: Blackhole Rising
I can't tell you how much time I put into these games.

Pazx 02-09-2013 01:17 PM

You guys have great taste in games.

Goddammit guys that was a serious statement, am I really that renowned for being overly cynical and sarcastic? Most of the games stated here are ****ing incredible.

(but emerald > firered/leafgreen > ruby/sapphire)

It became a habit for you to be sarcastic
FYI Emerald is the best but Firered/leafgreen won the best remake for GBA

BboyEatsbacon 02-10-2013 05:05 PM

Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2

Ayame MysTe 02-10-2013 05:48 PM

All the Megaman generations were great on gba. My favorite by far and probably what inspired my artistic side the most was the Battle Network series.

the battery goes out quick because of the emulator or because its old or something?

imSupah 02-13-2013 05:36 PM

You know the funny thing is that I found my old-rusty DS Lite. I also found my lost GBA games. I hooked them up last night and it was a blast on Memory Lane. My favorite games I played was Yoshi's Island and Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga. Ooh, the sweet memories.
