Graal Online Android Update?
I have read many forums about the requirements of the game and a bunch of other stuff. But that was around June of last year with all the post. I've had no device to play but I will be more than pleased to hear some new updates(: I'll love to hear what people herd or what they think will happen(:
|
dont think expansion on adroid will happen
|
I'm fairly sure the only updates that people on these forums will know of are already on these forums somewhere. Just search.
|
I seen them all, but I would love to see what people have to say(: it gets me a little excited cause there's not many good MMORPG's on the Play Store:/
Its been confirmed that it will be on the Android Client |
Graal is waiting so long. Some other similar game will come to claim that market.
|
Games have tried to do so. But yet they have failed their expectations, and yet doesn't seems as crisp and fluid as Graal. Remember that Graal has been in the game since 98'

It's complicated. If you would put Android and Apple player on one Server it would cause a lot of lag. If you would put them on two Server it would cause that we need way more Staff which is also impossible because the Server-Manager can only focus on one server, the communitys (Graal Facebook, Forums etc would have two communitys... Because the Apple players doesn't know the Android players, they would have different themes etc. Just wouldn't work because the Android players would stay away from the Apple players and so Graal iClassic iPhone and Graal iClassic Android would become two different games in time and the forum would need 2 different main forums) and it would cause the Apple vs Android fight. It would ruin the community.

When they talk about players, admins and so on an Apple player would never know what they mean. There would be two different communitys. Also the Staff thing. Every Server has a manager. And he can't focus on two servers. And if I was a manager of a server i have been working on for some years I wouldn't just tive the Server to a different person. Also Android players wouldn't have LATs, GFXs, SFXs, Ganis etc cuz the community would not know anything. So also no GMs. |
I think Robert explained it nicely.
|
I don't see how it would cause lag
|
So far i know the will use the same Server as for the iOS and facebook Players.
They thought with Classic Facebook that there will be a lot of more Players but the Server had always 30-60 Players, the same thing will be with Android. It will take a bit till there will be more Players. The server can handle a lot of players, and there will be no Server~Lag. About the release date, it's Eurocenter they never had a correct release Date, there was always something that delayed it. Someday we will see a Graal Android. |
Wait I don't understand. You're saying that the android is another race of human being then IOS players? Why would it cause lag, the only lag that will happen is the player count

Bringing in the Android community would open the door for many people to learn about levels, graphics, gani'ing and such. It's not like people can't learn, the iPhone community is proof of that. |

Graal would get to crowded and laggy if graal was released for android devices. :/
|
how would it cause lagg? i know a few other games that are both on android and iphone servers and they seem to run fine..

If Graal will be released for Android it would be way better to put them on one Server and try to make the Server-Lag less. The Android vs Apple fight might be impossible to surround anyways. |

I said they can learn just like the iPhone players did. Apple vs Android fight? I don't think anyone really cares about that in Graal. |

According to Stefan, Android hasn't been released because he fears it may possibly under bad circumstances maybe not do too well. We all know it's much more expensive to develop and publish for Android, so I hope you understand his hesitation.

Also, in other news, it's funny to sit and read the iPlayers sense of entitlement with shoddy excuses. It's like ****ing Instagram all over again.
|
I honestly think more the players is a better community. The Android community is very flexible. People give games that have no potential or a little on Android. So imagine it for Grasp? Plus more the $$$ easier to update the servers to handle more than enough players.
Also I'm not a Android fan boy. I own both iPad and a Android phone and tablet |
If graal went to Android you would all become badass oldbies.

Skyld was working on this a while back, i think over a year or so. He said that the client was "done" but still had bug's being worked out. I'm not sure what happend to this project, all i can input is that Skyld was working on it for a while, and did get a client running on his android device.
I can't say that Graal also making an android app would be a good thing, but you are tapping a large population that does use android. (aswell as all the bootleg crap that uses androids software to put in there plastic frames.) |
i will buy 1 android device soon
so if you made this app for android it would be GREAT! :) |
I still don't understand the disagreement.. It can bring some great players on the server. Remember too, some old pc players could have an Android device and actually get to play a legit experience than on Facebook
