Please Note: In order to prepare plugins such as "/set home" and LogBlock as well as other elements required for the server to function, the server will open tonight at 8:30 PM EST.

We're happy to announce that we're reopening the official Graalians Community Minecraft Server! (Special thanks to all of the generous donors.)

Like before, the server has PVP disabled, so please don't try to kill your neighbors. The server is still in survival mode, however, so be weary of zombies, pigmen... and your stomach.

You are free to build anywhere on the server outside of the spawn area as long as you do not interfere with the creations of others. That being said, please mark all of your areas with a sign; in-the-way buildings sitting idly with no markings may be deleted over time. Like on the old server, the general number-one rule is simply to respect other players. Griefing (destroying) the creations of other players and abusing the system may result in your rights revoked or even a ban. (We have LogBlock running so we'll know it was you.)

We no longer require players to be whitelisted before joining our server. You must, however, have your account activated by an administrator, but you can log in and explore the server in the mean time. Any other questions or comments are welcomed here. The server has been opened and the whitelist had been added. There was some minor confusion with the host but thanks to their amazing customer service department it was quickly sorted out.

Edit: The server is already back up! You can currently access the server at 192.210.234.12.

Unfortunately, the host is overloaded and the server is currently down.

However, the host is being extremely helpful. I was able to get in contact with them (and an actual person <-- woo) in just a few minutes, and they've agreed to move our server to a less-overloaded location. The issue is that new releases of Bukkit are more CPU-intensive and they're having to order more machines to make up for it.

The server is already being transferred to a new host. I've been told that this process should only take about twenty minutes. With a new host comes a new IP, so it may take a little while for the mc.graalians.com redirect to be fixed. (Rufus has finals so I'm not going to bug him about it too much tonight.) I will post the new IP address here in the mean time so that you can still access the server.

The host has promised that I will be reimbursed for time lost on the server. I'm still very happy with the host. Their response time was great, and they're not really doing anything wrong. They just ran into a problem and are having to fix it. This first weekend was a little rough, but now that we've gotten everything sorted out we should have an issue-free future with this server.

192.210.234.12? That's a router internal IP.

I don't really know what to say because I don't know enough about IP addresses, but Sammich and I are both able to access the server via that IP.

The host is once again having problems. I do not know when they will be fixed, but I've submitted support tickets so hopefully they'd better help soon.

I also think this is ridiculous.

There hosting is worth the price, though. It has %100 uptime.

I'd like to apologize to Sylvia and Sammich (Mostly Sylvia), I was being really douchey and I knew it. I'd be pretty pissed to if someone built a club, noise machine, nether portal, and fireplace under my house, then threatened to destroy said house if they didn't make the house nicer looking, in a rather vulgar manner too, then started bitching when told to remove it. I'd like to add that I am not saying this because I am banned (Assuming I a, haven't got on to check) and that I am being sincere.

The server just went down again, and I think I know the problem why it happened and why it happened yesterday too.

Around 12000, 2000 there are a bunch of chunk errors. Yesterday the server went down when me and some other guy went to check them out. But, I had no idea that's why it went down. So just now, I jumped into a chunk error that was filled with water and the server went down.

I'm pretty sure this is why the server went down, unless its just a huge coincidence. I think its time for a new map anyway..
