Movies that made you emotional.

So I was sitting around watching some MBC (TV channel) when this film called My Girl started playing, I first wasn't interested at all, didn't even concentrate, but it got better and I had to watch it till the end.
The last 20 minutes were depressing as hell, third time I got emotional on a movie after Lion King as a kid and City of Angels in my early teens.
I don't usually get emotional, I usually find these films pretty funny (Titanic),but this got me, I admit, pretty sad.
So which films make you emotional?

Godoco 12-31-2012 12:36 AM

Titanic

HappyCat123 12-31-2012 12:46 AM

I thought 'Million Dollar Baby' was a sad movie. I don't watch too many movies too much anymore, but I remember watching that awhile ago and the ending was sort of sad.

Rexx 12-31-2012 12:53 AM

Inception and The Dark Knight Rises.

Inception and The Dark Knight Rises.

Yeah both of those movies were amazing. One movie that I found some what moving was "the grey" especially the last scene with the fight with the alpha wolf.

BearClassic 12-31-2012 12:59 AM

Yeah, call me a wimp, but marley and me was sad at the end :'(
Bear.

Rexx 12-31-2012 01:01 AM

Oh and Old Yeller.
"Travis...get yo gun..."

BearClassic 12-31-2012 01:02 AM

And the film 'The road' that was possibly the best film ive ever seen, its so underrated, if you have the chance i highly suggest you watch the movie, its a brilliant tale of a fathe and son who survive a post apocalypse earth, they need to find shelter and avoid hunters, the end is a tale that will pull on anyones heartstrings, truly amazing.
Bear.

Marley and Me

Stand by me

Precious and Once Were Warriors stand out the most. There were others, but those two were the worst.
(Worst meaning I felt the worst. I've never actually cried in a movie properly)

Precious was sad.

Blueh 12-31-2012 02:20 AM

Hatchi is what I think the film was. My dad and I both watched that and were in tears at the end. He doesn't normally cry, so this was surprising to me. We ended up laughing our asses off latter because we were both trying so hard to hide our tears and failing so bad lol.

Elliott 12-31-2012 02:58 AM

The Christmas Shoes was another one, and i didn't even watch the whole movie. It was so sad though.

iChronic 12-31-2012 04:04 AM

500 days of summer..that chick was so horrible to the guy >: i even hate the actress who played the character..

DragonRider 12-31-2012 04:26 AM

The third(?) Shiloh movie. I felt so sorry for Judd.

XENA* 12-31-2012 02:04 PM

The last batman and Schindler's list. Schindler's list is a true story which makes it even more sad.

Emera 12-31-2012 04:03 PM

Marley and me, the boy in the striped pajamas, song for a raggy boy, titanic, the shawshank redemption (it didn't make me cry, but it's still pretty emotional imo), my sister's keeper (saddest film ever)

TheRookie 12-31-2012 04:19 PM

Zack and Miri Make a Porno. American Pie Band Camp. The Girl Next Door. Mulan.

Myst 01-01-2013 11:07 AM

Crank is super sad

Mofujohn 01-01-2013 05:21 PM

Marley and Me and The Passion.

Admiral 01-01-2013 07:13 PM

Any films with dogs that die such as Eight Below, Marley and Me, I Am Legend will make me cry.

One particular film that made me sob was The Green Mile, one of the greatest films ever. - RIP Michael Clarke Duncan.

BearClassic 01-01-2013 11:16 PM

The green mile was amazing.
And i only felt sad when the dog died in I Am legend. :-)

Koolaid 01-01-2013 11:25 PM

I don't watch these kinds of movies but the one that almost got me was that dog story. Hachi?

Pimpsy G. 01-01-2013 11:36 PM

If the two parted, 3 hour long Dr. Who special "End of time" counts, yeah that.

MementoJoker 01-01-2013 11:57 PM

As Good As It Gets.

Nabu Lapse 01-02-2013 01:30 AM

I don't really remember the name all that well, it was like Hatchico or something. It was about a dog, movies like that are always sad.

Talon 01-02-2013 08:47 AM

Okay, I know for a fact there was a movie I've seen recently that has made me cry but I'll be damned if I can remember it.

- Sorry if I have a bad taste in movies but the Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya made me really emotional in every way. Easily one of my favorite movies of all-time.

Emera 01-02-2013 08:49 PM

Oh my god. I've just watched A Walk To Remember, and it's just become the saddest movie I've ever watched ;(

Xavier 01-03-2013 07:15 AM

Ever episode of South Park. Kenny is dead. ;-(

The Panda 01-03-2013 07:21 AM

Crono 01-03-2013 05:49 PM

lion king when i was a kid

Fuldur 01-06-2013 07:11 PM

Pretty much any movie based on a real story. I somehow also cry to the movie 'UP'.

iChronic 01-07-2013 04:11 PM

gladiator..that **** was horrible..i hate it when people die in the end..its like i watched a whole movie of events that led to his death..idk what im trying to explain ;(

Billy 01-07-2013 09:10 PM

Notebook. Made me cry.

Ozzy_Magus 01-07-2013 09:22 PM

I am legend.
Idk, it was so sad at the end robert took the grenade and....
And his dog became a zombie too:(
I prefer the 2nd ending, even if it is weird.
(this movie had 2 endings). Watched both. Original is the saddest.
Marley & Me too.
There are some others..but my memory is bad.

BabyGhost 01-08-2013 01:26 PM

I don't watch lots of movies but I'm surprised Hatchi is a popular movie. (At least here) The movie seemed somewhere on the happy side at first. Now it got darker.
Spoiler

Hatchi died waiting for his owner who was already dead. Such a patient loyal dog :(

Based on real story, which made me cry when I saw it. That's loyalty the dog has to its owner.

lololol

kay, i was bored and started watching this Indian movie called My Name Is Khan.

this Indian lady met this muslim man and they fell in love, later along in the movie the womans son was at a .. soccer practice...i think? and his friend came iver to him and said `my father died in a war in Afghanistan, its all the muslims faults. they gott into an argue and these 3-4 older guys walked over and said to the ladys son `leave him alone, what are you doing? etc`. and beat him to death. his mother was waiting till he gets home nd hours passed she rean to the school and found her son dead on the field. the next day she went and looked for the culprits.

it made me really sad, omfg i was like in tears and had a box of tissues.

MementoJoker 01-13-2013 12:16 PM

That movie with the robot who sacrifices himself by colliding with a nuclear bomb or something while saying super man.

ArtaXerXes 01-15-2013 04:56 AM

The Boy In the Striped Pajamas, and, for some reason, the first pokemon movie.
