If nintendo were to release another smash game...
 

What new characters and items would you like to see appear in the next game? I personally want to see Kamek and King K. Rool to join the smash team. If any more items were to be featured in the game I would want to see the Ice Flower, a Bullet Bill launcher and the Dual Portal Device (Portal gun.) added. (I know its not nintendo, but it would be epic to see it in the next game)

There was a thread like this at the Smash forums a few years ago with hundreds of posts. Prominent characters were Krystal and Paper Mario, an Animal Crossing character and Geno(?) I think.

I want really iconic nintendo characters we haven't seen in the series yet.
Here's my list:
Megaman, Gray Fox (Metal Gear Series: Ninja version and Red Bandana version), Toad (Super Mario), Tails (Sonic the Hedgehog), Kid Chameleon...

My mind's going blank. I'll add more later.

Megaman and Tails aren't nintendo, however they were heavily suggested in the SWF thread too.

I don't think that I really enjoyed Brawl as much as I thought I was going to. I don't know why, perhaps there was too much going on.

Sonic was not nintendo, but he made it in smash brawl. Proves that any character could have a small teeny tiny chance in getting in.

I think Tails and Megaman really are the only two non-nintendo characters that should be added. A Shadow skin for Sonic would be cool too though. SSB4 or SSBP could include a huge variety of dead nintendo characters.

I'd really like some of the characters from the original to return.

You guys need to look up Card Saga Wars (I think that's what it's called). It's an indie project, pretty much your standard fighter game but with master chief and link and leon and all sorts of different characters from games, and some manga as well. Pretty neat.


Pretty sure the next SSB installment is War (or that's a working title), for the Wii U.

Well, Nintendo has said that they will be holding back on guest characters, but they also said that they were interested in getting some Capcom guest characters... idk why specifically Capcom, but who cares. Gimme Arthur! Or Mega Man. Mega Man works, too.

Oooh, that would mean we might get Capcom assist trophies... Omg I would do anything to summon up the fighter plane from 1992 to gun down my enemies >: D

nintendo didn't make pikachu, kirby, ness, or jigglypuff and they were all in the first one. now obviously with HAL being behind SSB kirby and ness make sense, but still.

hell nowadays they've got a ton of characters from outside the nintendo universe.

Megaman needs to be in the spotlight again

megaman is lame, and megaman x is even worse. everything you did in x was to emulate zero, and zero was intended to be the new megaman x main character anyway until capcom scrapped that idea.

zero has cooler mechanics with his wings and sabre while megaman x has nothing.

Who said anything about X? I never even enjoyed that series.

They shouldn't use original series characters, they should always use the newest instalment.

You guys are so gonna reject or deny the character(s) that I want back/to join the super smash bros 4. I can say that 1 character from super smash bros melee that didn't make it to brawl is the one I am dying to see their return to the next super smash bros game as a playable character. I don't have a lot of characters on my wish list. Most aren't third party characters. Sakurai said he won't be putting too many characters.

I really hope Super smash bros 4 will have good competitive game play. A bit like Super smash bros melee.

There should be a feature where you can download characters like a DLC. Don't make it where the DLC character data is already in the game and the player pays money just to unlock the DLC character data to make it playable.

The game doesn't need to have ALL characters on initial launch. Nintendo can keep working on other characters and when they're done, they can release a DLC character online. The DLC character will be able to be used online.

DLC= Downloadable content.

It wouldn't be too hard to make moves for him. He'd be a variant of the Samus character (moves). Charging, Shoot, Jump, A combo Melee attack, A running shoulder attack, etc. Then you could have some random attacks you recieve from bosses. Not hard.

Zero would be much more interesting though. Imagine the controls to be a mixture of Samus and Link.

Or just give him various special weapons he has acquired from robot masters in the past.... There are more than enough special weapons that would work very well...
