You might have realized us broadcasting you to identify yourself in case you didn't do it yet.

Well the reason is an upcomming App-update where you might lose your unidentified account. Sure we are setting up some stuff to prevent this and we will be able to restore it in case this will happen, but we would like you to identify now to speed everything up and have you on the safer side.

The problem with this is that ecs will be lost. Weird has a good 50+ ecs and hasn't identified.

Can you do it after Christmas? My brother's device has broken before the identify system was implemented. He's getting it repaired for Christmas, but he'll need an old school account transfer.

no, we cant as stefan is sending the update to apple today or within the next few days. but i doubt that we will delete the account files, meaning that we would be able to still transfer the account

Because apple don't allow new apps to identify devices by their UDID.
It's to do with security stuff.

no - the device will still own it. You may not be able to go in that device though lol

^this... also I have been offline on one of my acc's(my 2g acc) for like 50+days but it has email on it/identified, do I still need to log onto that acc to keep my stats

Lol. I have 25 EC from my dad's old phone, it's identified to one of his emails but he doesn't have that phone and he doesn't have the password of the email. I do have the GraalID though. Is that enough?

I identified ASAP too lol... I didn't see a reason why not to do it, it worked fine on classic.
So, uh, how's this update gonna work for new players? When they download the app they just make an account I guess?

If there is a verify system im guessing the next common sense thing to do is have a system to verify to another email. Its a great fail safe as well because peoples email accounts get hacked all the time.

Looks like common sense isnt so common anymore....
There still should be a system to change ur email which doesnt interfere with their plan to make evryone verified sooooo yes.......

This thread is not about merging accounts. If you have two identified accounts, you are fine and we will not merge your account. We are talking about players who are playing on non-identified PC:ID accounts, they need to be registered/identified to an email address.
