More cliffs in Southridge
 

Why. Now even less places to dig that aren't crowded and laggy. Keep taking away money from shelling an people won't buy gralat packs, they'll just get fed up and quit. At least make another significantly sized protected area to dig. Damn.

go to the beach not much people dig there anymore

when we change anything on the map, we wont just throw something away just to stop you from making money. we dont care if you dig your stuff, buy the money or mine things. yet im sure a beach expansion can be added.

Hes right south was totaly messed up. We cant dig there and those mountains makes it hard to move around >_>

sometimes, you just cant get easily from one spot to another. try to walk all around it!

This begs the question, why even change the map in a way that isn't wanted by the playerbase? Why do it when you know people will get upset?

I just want a few breaks in the cliffs that's allow you to pass from the north. That's all. It's a pain to travel around in Southridge now.

I can't even dig at my favorite spot anymore ,chocolate notes.

Cliffs were added for more realism and to make it look better, more digging spots can be added easily however.

I did it. I like it. I wanted only one entrance to SR so I 'almost' did it. The only way is through the north or the bottom right. There is a beach in the bottom right which is empty.

What about a secret entrance in the north?

Now we need speed boats.

i honestly dont like it. i loved being able to walk along the beach and mess around with friends, but now its not there. not to mention it makes it a huge pain to get around.

you know, it helps when you listen to the playerbases opinions instead of going "well i want this so... *poof* CHANGED!"

The cliffs just dont fit in well imo.

its the way you are used to it. you can have 300 new players starting today saying that they like this version more when you show them the old one, and you can have 300 old players saying that they liked the previous one more than the current one.

well that makes sense considering the 300 new players never played it how it was and dont know any better, and a large amount of players that first join end up quitting after a bit,

i have no clue how you would show something to players, but when personally i am about to show players something for the rating, i either present a picture of it (you wouldnt even have to play the map in case to rate it) or get them to check it out.

The challenge is supposed to be surviving the bullet spray all over the map not the map itself...

The cliffs look pretty cool, but it would be cooler if you could kill that skull dragon thing (realism for the win!) in the cave on the cliff on the left side.

I think they're great. Ugly, but great.

I wish theres a cave entrance where you can use your drill to dig around the cave to find secret places.

Higbey, once again you're just a whiney little bitch, always complaining because of your undying hatred for Graal, but refuse to leave us all in peace due to not having anything else to return 'home' too.

If we'd of had the tiles from the start, the cliffs would have been there and you wouldn't of known the difference, you'd of got used to it and played.
Landscapes are a challenge in other shooting games, is there something i'm missing by us adding landscapes in also? Or do you want bullets to go through walls and houses to make it easier for you?

Do you know about higbey's personal life or was that last bit just a personal jab at him to make him stop talking? Because you should know by now that talking like this seriously won't stop his complaining.

I don't go down to south ridge anymore, nothing to do there. But when I did go down there for the dragon thing, I thought, "the fu is this? Now I gotta walk all the way around? Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii-". But, since south ridge lacks anything, I have nothing against the cliffs. But I do wish you could jump off the cliffs.

The latter, everytime I post, he shuts up, so I figure i'm doing this thread a favour :)

You took it too far; Higbey is a respectable figure, just because he has a different view and just because you don't like his way of thinking, doesn't mean you can attack him and his personal life. Sorry to say, but that's not behaviour I'd expect from an admin and definitely not you.

Respectable figure? On these forums? I don't quite see it, given most of the forum appears to be against him / dislike him.
It's not his way of thinking I dislike, it's his constant complaining and attempts to stir everyone up, does he even actively play IEra?.

I don't attend these forums as an Admin specifically, especially not on an unoffical forum to say the least.
If he actually is lost irl and and can't a place to call 'home', I'd consider it pretty good I managed to hit that on the head, else, he shouldn't be on the forums attempting to find that 'home'.

I like digging on the way bottom of Era City, to the left of the bridge, right in front of the shop that buys crab shells.

It's a PK zone, so I can get enjoyment out of killing people who come at me.
And I like to hook my crabs on the bridge, so I don't have to fight them.

even though sometimes it does get to the point where it's annoying, the forums wouldn't be the same without Higbey. He stimulates conversation. I actually really like Higbey, despite whatever he thinks about me.

i may be negative, but if no one criticized, complained, or had strong opinions, then this world wouldnt be the way it is today.

id rather like to keep my real life out of this, as i dont see what my life has to do with the gmap being modified in a way a lot of players hate, especially when its because of a gameplay viewpoint and not just aesthetically.

you are not a player. it doesnt matter what stefan thinks, this is as official of a forum as iserver players have, and you must represent yourself as such, staff have gotten in deep trouble for their actions on this forum before.
