Who remembers that 6k Spar Wins mask? The golden one with wings? Yup, make an NPC inside the library of the battle arena that says "Flee, for you are not worthy to speak to me!" The NPC would have that mask on him. Once a player reaches 6,000 spar wins they can talk to him and he will offer to sell his mask for 38k.

WHY IN THE CLASSIC WORLD IS THIS BENEFICIAL!!!!????
-Sets a spar milestone and encourages more players to spar.
-A very determined player will not waste his/her time farming after he/she reaches 6k, instead they will PURCHASE GRALAT PACKS.

In my time on graal classic I eventually figured out that when things benefit the income of the game in some way then it is preferred over a great fun idea that would improve players gralats such as high pay quests= Nope. Example: Omg classic got a quest where you deliver items to NPCs! ... You buy masks at the end.

Lots of people want the gold mask. It wouldn't be released in order to keep the "rarity". If it turns out that it can be used as a challenge for players and then two ways to finish the challeng then it's a great idea. You either farm for days or get some packs. Plus it keeps it's "rarity" since 6k wins takes some time. ~So no I'm not "kissing up" to developers, I'm just trying to get my idea to be executed.

No you either sparred Matt for it then when he got to annoyed with the load of requests you had to spar him after 6k wins and then he resigned and it's a discontinued spar hat. *But I like my idea, i think it's a good way to bring it back. =)

It wasn't a mask...I thought it was the golden helmet that glows. I like the idea but then it'd probably create a lot of boosters racing to get 6k wins or scamming accounts to get it. The price you set for it, is expensive o_O.

Yes I mean that golden mask/ helm with white wings that glows. The high price=Benefits the developers. Also as you said it may stir up some boosters to boost and RACE to 6k. The race is a good thing: More people will start to spar. So classic might be able to the days of 20 ppl minimum each spar room again. The boosting? Staff already have that somewhat solved. Your spar score can only go up if you win or lose in the battle arena. So Enybody trying to boost would need to do it right under the admins' nose. I'm sure they have right people hired for graal police position and that they do their job and stop those boosters. *cough *cough.

$14.95 = 5 gralat packs of $2.99. (Tax not included)
1 gralat pack worth 2.99= 8000 gralats.
8000 gralats x 5 (packs)= 40,000 gralats.
Golden spar helm [Would be]= 38,000 gralats.

Also as you said 20k might be the max for a hat but this hat should be considered more of a visual milestone (Example= Skillcapes in runescape) so its more than just a hat.

After 6k spar wins you either choose: buy packs and get the hat before you go to sleep (and also reward unixmad with some bread), or waste your life tapping the screen another hundred or so times farming 38k and have the hat for your funeral.

Math and a runescape reference? Whoa.

Devlin the dev staff don't get a cut so they shouldn't care about pricing.

By dev staff I mean unixmad and Stefan. (Stephane and Stefan) Also with that extra cash then iClassic can continue to give free gold to staff members or however it works.

The point of the golden hat and the glowing king hat was it being rare. But if we do this, like lia said, we'd get boosters and people racing to 6k. Great idea. But why in the hell 38k? Dafuq...i could get a head and a body, nearly 40k..2heads..or 1 head 2 bodies. but 38k for a hat that will be worn by everyone..? That'll be lame..i do like the idea better than i'd ever think of..haha

Im sure he'll come across it sometime. It is a nice idea though! Hopefully he'll give it some thought before rejecting it so easily. I like to see ideas from players being used. Such as the Hello & Goodbyes, that was a nice one.

Most milestone items are less expensive because of being a milestone... but 38k? A bit too overpriced.

Runescape skill capes cost quite a bit as well, I mean for the second and trimmed sinc ei beleive you get the first one free but graal isn't runescape and u don't get capes that's why the spar helm would cost more.

Any price under 50K and I will definitely be buying it the week it's released. I've been waiting for that hat forever. :P

With the new alignment system then maybe somebody should recolor the spar helm, black with black glow, and pkers that can hold an ap of 0 for 30 minutes or so will get it.

Why are you comparing graal with runescape?

The CONCEPT of a milestone for an achievement. A helm for 6k spar wins, a cape for 99 level of a skill.
