Getting Sick and Tired of this Bull**** Scam Artist
 

This guy has been scamming people with his umbrella. Now, normally I wouldn't care, but now he's USD trading with iTunes cards. This has gone far enough.

Also, he tried to bait me into a trade for my black crab dagger by using an edited version of Pimpsy's head and claiming that he was Pimpsy (unfortunately, no pictures).

Just because it's at Jeni's house doesn't mean it's legit. First off: it's illegal. Second off: you can easily scam someone like that. All he has to do is just ask for the code, use it, then leave.

I heard this is how GoonSquad scam-

GOON recruits a player with decent super rares, makes friends with them. Then does a legit trade with the player, then GOON or a another high ranked member (Mazi, Merp) then asks to "borrow" the players new super rare, then wazam! Their kicked and blocked.

Or they build trust with a member, convince them they don't scam. Then get the player to drop first, and then kick and block.

Isn't that obvious enough for yah?

If you see them trying to USD, even if its just in their status, report them. It will be handled with.

Hahahaha omg just when I thought my reputation couldn't get any worse it just keeps deteriorating. But honestly I haven't scammed in a very very long time I'm actually inactive as hell and could care less... GoonSquad is more then just a scammers you know... We base... And stuff ;) after all isn't this a gangster game..? Hence why scamming is legal, just look it as you getting robbed by the other boss/gang - now you have an in game rival you can talk **** to and hunt down and possibly get revenge. It definitely makes the game more interesting and fun, lets face it.. Era would be boring if EVERYBODY got along and had no rivalry/hatred. I'm not encouraging hate at all because I'm actually real good friends with most original players and staff, I'm just saying - all you gotta do is be the smarter player.

Actually it's not legal because "it's a gangster game", it's only technically legal because with the current system there is no way to o and punish every scammer. However, this does not mean you can sell items for real world currency or even scam real world currency. If you are caught doing either, you can expect to being punished.

I'm not encouraging scamming iTunes neither but when players blatantly offer them out loud someone is gonna try and scam it or take it. Regardless of anything and that's somethin staff can't stop. And even if someones iTunes did get scammed how would one prove it? A screenshot isn't enough how would the staff even be able to know the iTunes code is old or already used? I understand it's illegal but proving that your iTunes code got stolen would be pretty difficult that's why so many people get away with it.


Solution? Completely outlaw the word "iTunes" in chats to where it's ****** or something. It may sound extreme and foolish but that's the only thing I can think of.

I understand that jest, But at the same time I don't think a screenshot would be substantial evidence. What if the person is trying to trade a fake or old iTunes code for an auction rare? Would his punishment be the same even tho technically there was no real life currency involved?

iTunes codes are considered irl payment. The same way you'd be jailed for counterfeit money irl, you can get punished for "fake" codes.

That's sad. Goonsquad are full of scammers and btches. And btw GOON scamming is legal but abusing it can lead to a reset and/or jail.

Bottom line really is don't do illegal things. Don't try and find loopholes to do illegal things. Use your brain and don't trade with random people. Don't trade at all is my suggestion. Keep your game life and real life separate. Money included fake or not.

See that's the spirit! Hahaha I can feel your hatred through my iPhone. And I've never heard of anyone being jailed or resetted from scamming regular droppable items. The staff even announce themselves through broadcast messages that they can't do anything if you get scammed (unless it involves itunes codes or real life currency) You would think that snk and the
staff would get sick and tired of scam complaints which I'm more then sure they DO! But they can't do anything about it themselves.. It's out of their power, they can easily make it illegal or develope and approve a trade system but it's not up to them. It's up to the guy who's name starts with an S and obviously he doesn't mind iEra being filled with scammers.

Goon scamming is legal but don't abuse it... Michael got reset for scamming to much and paul (long time ago) was warned that if he scammed 1 more time he would be banned 9k hours.

I hope everyone gets caught. Drop trades were meant for gifting, not scamming. It's sad that there aren't many good, trustworthy people out there... I guess it's also a reflection of the times. Enduring with less than you'd like? Just take if from your brothers and sisters.

I'm not denying it whatsoever.. Everybody and they mama knows that I'm a scammer ;p but I also dont have anymore super rares then the ones I already have, nor have i even been trying to get anything new. I simply don't care anymore. I'd rather win em through auctions, it's a good feeling to outbid everyone and win.

And you can look at GoonSquad however you want to... the real question is do you honestly think any of us give a ****? -- I'm sure you can figure that one out on your own ;)
