How much knocks for key
 

Can someone tell me how much knocks i must make for the key please( i don't believe it's 1800, as it's impossible.)

It's not. I think it's 500 knocks.

It's a hat every 60 successful trick or treat. (so for 5 hats thats 300... the key is 360)

it was to begin with (for the first 10 hours...) but when I woke up I checked a few things and added more houses and it was still very popular so I reduced it to 150 per one... then after an hour I just decided 60.

I thought 300 was good at first, but since we've been filling in all the 'EMPTY' houses on Era there wasn't many left lol... #fayul

Well, at first snk said "A hat every 60^5" which also means, "A hat every 777600000."

I had a "dafuq moment" just thinking about how long that would take.

The part where people can spam weapons freely is still annoying, takes the fun out of whether you get a trick or candy when you can't even get to the door.

You get a no PK flag added for 15 seconds during the 'trick or treat'...

It definitely doesn't feel like 15, more I knock and I can get hurt when the animation finishes.

A no pk zone right in front of a door isn't asking much, I have incentive to go to another door when it says I can't use the same one anyways.

Not always. Sometimes when you are trick or treating people can still kill you. I don't know if its a glitch/bug/lag but i knocked on the door while someone was shooting at me and then they continued to shoot at me when i was receiving candy and I died a couple seconds after I knocked on the door. It seems to act like the normal pk rules: if someone is shooting at you and you enter a non pk building inside, they can still kill you. But for trick or treating, if they are shooting at you and you knock on the door they can still kill you.

Last year's trick or treating in era was more peaceful. It takes a long time before your character enters PK state again after knocking on a door.

Thank goodness the key is 360 knocks. I'm 1/3 of the way there, I just got my second hat!

Are the hats cool?

Last year we juct touched the door and could do trick or treat. Today we crash in a door 10 times and nothing happends. Usualy im trying to knock it like 20 seconds <_<

It took me 40 minutes to do 60 knocks with no breaks (just hardcore knocking).

then you suck at knocking. no offence.

If thats the pattern, why am i at 160 successful tricm or treats and i dont even have the 2nd hat?

Oh, god, it's 360 for a key? It better be worth it, I only have 275 knocks so far.
Also, something kinda strange: I got the second hat at 145 knocks, third hat and body at 220 knocks, and fourth at 275. Is it supposed to be like this...? Maybe I didn't check my knocks at the right time and skipped some, but I think I did it right...

How long did it take you then?

touching doors is hard

Because of the changes he made, the 60 for a hat didn't start until Saturday morning when he changed it. So for some people, their 80 knock could get something, or their 171 knock, etc.

I like touching doors because the doors are hard :smile:

I did the math, and I get the key at 450 knocks because I did 90 the previous day :(

I got 320 for the last hat...I think something's wrong. It went 75,55,55...
And I don't remember when I got my first hat it was like 110 or something.

Got my first hat at 170 and the key at 385....

I got last hat at 275 and key at 330...

I don't understand why trick or treating got "nerfed". It's not supposed to be hard to trick or treat.

because it was taking rather long, and players were complaining like crazy :o

but i've add a second check, if you have 330 knocks and all 5 hats you should get the key on any successful knock thereafter.

i got my key at 440 knocks.. but i as told by flamecrow, it was at 330 knocks can a admin please explain?
