I'm guessing you just bought minecraft lol... Not to be a jerk but if you just google how to install the prereleases you will instantly get your answer. I'm just trying to get people to problem solve on their own because lately on the Internet so many people just ask questions before researching themselves. It's a bad mindset in my opinion.

I've had minecraft for a few months, lol. I did google it, but for some reason I couldn't get any helpful results.

Oh, sorry. Modding requires editing minecrafts files a lot so I was just assuming, but yeah, here's the first result on google. Just treat it like it is 1.4:

Thanks! I'm using it now, I thought there was going to be a snowman though? In creative mode you cannot spawn it, there is no egg. And remember you were going to update the Graal texture pack to fit in with 1.3? I guess now it has to be compatible with 1.4. I could help you make it if you need any help.

... That's information is the 1.9 beta prerelease from a year ago lol. The snow golem has been around for over a year, just place two snow blocks and a jackolantern ontop. Again treat it like its 1.4 and ignore all the 1.9 stuff.. (Use the file in the OP, if you downloaded the stuff from the link you're using a year old version of minecraft now)

Yes, that is the literal texture for the snow golem. Its been like that for over a year.

Show us what you mean, if it's not the snow golem, then show us

How do you get potatoes and carrots to begin with? Do you find them in chests?

Villages have farms with them growing.

Is there another way? Perhaps there should be a different way, for example wild potatoe plants.
