In Search Of A Decent RPG
 
I want something fantasy. I really enjoy D&D, so something along those lines. The adventure style in PokeMon was cool too. (I also would like a 8-32 bit game if possible)

So, can you guys just name some that come to your mind?

Oh and has anyone played Zork?

Do you want multiplayer, or is single player fine? Are you fine with using an emulator?

I play adventure quest worlds. Thats pretty fun too. Currently were having a giant game war across 6 different RPG games, and its EPIC!!! Heres the link. http://www.aq.com/

I'll try AQ, but i dont really like PokeMMO

Keep posting, i really need more ideas. Also, mods for games are cool too.

Oh yeah, I used to play aq ALL the time, but it got old.

The gameocide event made it 5x more badass. If you sign up for all 6 games you can fight across each game

AQ3d is coming out XD otherwise id suggest that you get dishonored or skyrim. Maplestory got dumb after they never patched the login bugs

A while back a buddy and I had plans to get these guys to make an RPG game that we'd write the storyline for. Though, it seems like that plan has been forgotten >.< I hope I can bring it back up.

There is Golden Sun series for GBA and DS, The Kingdom Hearts series (still counts as RPG), Final Fantasy series, Radiant Historia, Shin Megami Tensei series (Try the Persona series then try Nocturne). I got more to know if interested.

The Battle for Wesnoth is a multiplayer turn based strategy game, but has some nice campaigns if you'd prefer that.

One of the oldest Elder scrolls games, Daggerfall. It's free from the official Elder Scrolls site. (BTW it is 2.5D, common with 3D games on PC at that time).

I tried the iPhone version and I can't recommend it, really bad. Go for the SNES version if possible imo.

I think he wants oldschool American RPGs, so I can't really recommend anything.

Does terraria count as an RPG? I liked that game its a 2D minecraft with many Bosses and weapons.

If you can get a sega or GBA emu Shining Force was a great RPG or Fire Emblem.

Okay, I got something called ADRIFT 5.0, and its for making text adventures, or Interactive Fiction.

I highly suggest you guys check it out. I'm still figuring it out, but it really is a solid program.

Oh, and it's free!
