Is winning important or not?

Well, do you think winning a sports competition is important?
Or is it more important to gain experience and learn out of losing and play for the fun of it?

Kiko 09-16-2012 03:54 PM

It's Important to have fun and have learnt things like new tactics or ideas on how to improve, and it's fun to get back at those butthurt defenders.

eric 09-16-2012 04:38 PM

Winning is everything, if you dont win feel ashamed of yourself.

Psycher! 09-16-2012 04:46 PM

It isn't everything, but it's always nice to win.

eric 09-16-2012 04:54 PM

Well, the real game is how much money you can earn from the least stressful job as possible. If you don't "Win", you're ****ed.

Talon 09-16-2012 05:15 PM

Why do we learn from experience? To get better. Why do we get better? To win.

eric 09-16-2012 05:17 PM

True dat

MrSimons 09-16-2012 06:00 PM

Okay, we aren't in. ****ing preschool (most of us at least) so really who gives a **** if you "tried". It only matters if you win.

eric 09-16-2012 06:15 PM

RIGHT

Smoke 09-16-2012 06:20 PM

The whole point of competition is to win. But it also matters how you win.

Godoco 09-16-2012 06:25 PM

Winning does not matter, because everyone is good at something. Some people not might not be as good at something, if they aren't of the same skill level, then winning means nothing, You need a challenge.

eric 09-16-2012 06:27 PM

Lose: death
Win: 14 billion dollars

Naw, winning dont matter:p

if you're not playing to win then you will never play a game/sport at a competitive level (or even close).

if you play to win and still lose, then you learn from that and improve yourself. if you don't learn from your losses (even when you went 100%) then you will stagnate.
