I think the gc studios from pc graal would be great for iClassic. I know it wouldnt work with the small ipod screen but maybe with facebook.


Graal can even add a new admin position to help host events.

Events are great content regardless the server Higbey. Era thrives on hosting events day to day and has a playercount close to or higher than classic's atm. I support this

iPhone staff can't just stroll into Classic and copy everything, you know. iClassic and PC Classic are completely unrelated servers, aside from the base they both take from. Not without permission, at least. But it's still better if the iClassic staff develop their own event house, and events that would appeal to the playerbase, rather than, ahem, drunken antics. We got little kids yo.

Technically Stefan can take whatever he wants from other servers if he so desired but I do believe their is an etiquette in place.

Well, yeah, he could. But that's just morally wrong, and, by taking it without the creators permission he is disrespecting all the work they put into it, and that is something that is generally frowned upon in modern society. Like cannibalism.

They got events that would have never worked for an iPhone or even Facebook. I think I had a discussion with Thor, or another players that it (the events) were built in a way that they could never fit an iPhone, or something like that.

Sure they could knock up some neat events for iphone or just use the ones already on for now like treasure chest, tricky tiles, chance and whatever else they may have now(not been on classic in awhile to check if any new events)

Lets get one thing straight, Classic Pc and Classic iOS are COMPLETELY different, different managers, Xor and Thor (They rhyme ^~^) and completely different content, if you can tell... There is NO deadwood on Classic PC, neither is there Swamp, Belle Island or Snowtown.

So that means iClassic cannot have events just because PC does? That is the most stupid thing I have read in a while

I believe there is nothing wrong with events every now and then, but that people should be focusing on more important things the majority of the time.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with iClassic having quests. But I thought the original poster was implying that iClassic copy GC Studios -- hence my comment about the morality of just taking content without permission. Aside from the base (Classic) the current Classic PC and iClassic have no relations whatsoever, and are managed by different users. With permission, yes, but, again as I said, I think it'd be better for iClassic to develop its own unique events house and events.

When has the opinion of society ever mattered to Stefan and Unixmad? Heck half the time they wont even listen to the staff who create large portions of the game for free!

The tent in Mod Town is an events tent. NPC's in Mod town talk about how they love the events. And the guys in line say they can't wait for events. Am I the only one that notices this stuff? :o

It actually isnt as laggy as it used to be since it was updated. And only a limited amount of people are allowed in the iClassic events as well? So alas, your point makes no sense

The problem I have with events is that it tends to be accompanied by EC... and tbh I hate the concept of more than one currency. It just adds in more grinding/farming to be done to get specific items.

yes, then when new things come out they need their own currency because people complain ec is for events only when obviously they were called event coins because back when they were released there was only events....

If thor wouldnt allow iclassic to use the gc studios im sure iclassic staff can make something similar. I dont even think there should be prizes personally i would use it just to have fun. I rather do events that are fun instead of chasing admins for hats like a noob.

GC Studios and Event Houses work on PC Graal because the community is small. It's a shame we can't have UN-esque events on iClassic.

Instead of having trial gp’s they should make them events admins. Like that they can really serve the community and prove themselves worthy of a gp position in the future. I know theres plenty of players desperate to be staff. Just restrict their powers.

tbh they're better off just having events being automatically hosted, less chance of abuse that way. I constantly see admins letting their friends know ahead of time where they are putting the "door" to get into the event.

Some also try and find excuses to kick players other than their friends but most don't.

I agree with Skill. They need several of the same event going at the same time on iClassic. I think Sumo was the worst event added so far xD. Having 50-100 players on a Snowflake Island is way too overcrowding.

Maybe they can make something like fort builder or freeze tag now that we have the option to zoom out. These would be great if they were added as guild events.

Sumo is fun with 20 ppl :'(
