This is disappointing and out of hand.
 

I can't summarize this in a title, that's why the title sucks.

But seriously people, lay off of people who "hoard" ecs. I don't like it either, but they are doing what they want to do, much like how gangs like sK, Obsidian, EBIZOU BASE, etc. base a lot. Almost every thread that Yogy posts on, he gets called something along the lines of a "Ec hoarding basterd" and I'm sick of it. When people post on gangs that base, do they get hit with constant angry comments? No. And I know that some people are mad at Yogy because he cheats or whatever, and that I understand. But for people who have no reason and just hate him for winning a lot, back off. If that's what he wants to do on this game, let him do it, you do your thing. All I'm trying to say is...stop harassing people for winning events because its the same concept as basing and everything. If someone keeps winning something, then you need to get better to beat them,not just whine and complain about it. And this isn't just for Yogy, it's for everyone who's been harassed for constantly winning something.

Once again, the cheating would be an acceptable reason to call someone out.

Edit: I know EBIZOU gets ragged on too, just it doesn't seem with as much hate as event winners.

Yogy flaunts his *illegitimate* ways to obtain EC, he isn't a viable example. No one (that i see?) rages at you and your other EC hoarding buddies because you and them maintain a level of maturity. Yogy also has this sort of "i win more ec thna u umad hahahahahah XD XD XD" sort of attitude against the forum users which sort of riles them up a bit more and eggs them on.

He doesn't always brag like that, but when he does, I understand why people would be so mad.
And well I don't see how we "hoard" ecs because we are just getting Ec items that we want. It's like EBIZOU BASE "hoarding" basing hours. They want them, so people don't generally mess with them. But if we want an Ec item, we get harassed just for winning a single event.

And I am not saying that I win a lot of ecs, because I don't. I'm just sick of seeing people, mainly my friends, get harassed for winning something.

You're always going to get hate if you're better than someone else at something, especially with online games. Man, when i played halo, i'd get so much hate mail i'd laugh my head off, i personally found it funny people took the game so seriously.

Actually Ebizou is hated by the basing community because whenever they take a base with their 30 man army it's very hard to regain it. Besides I sense a flame war, this thread wint lead to anything.

I don't hate Yogy for EC "hoarding". I hate him for the fact that he flaunts it around with a conceited air of superiority, who cries on these forums to get the things he wants.

Let's be honest, if there are no angry mobs, nor ec hoarders - where will the fun be?
