Screw what I said earlier. I tried Kill la Kill today and it was actually fantastic. There's just something about this anime that feels different that I like about it. I watched the first 3 episodes.

But the visuals!

Kill la Kill can't really be a fan service of millions of people actually love it.

There's a deference between an anime frantically trying to keep its fans by mass producing filler garbage and an anime actually making a good new story.

My retinas melted by the sheer glory of every episode.

The designs for almost every female character in that series is purely fan service. Your assumption that fan service is something only bad anime does isn't good.

There's a difference, yes. Denying the level of absurd fan service in Kill la Kill is willful ignorance. The story wasn't that good either, couple good twists, but nothing more.

Oh god, gonna avoid the dub completely.

Actually the dub itself is'nt that bad. The guy who is in charge did the FMA:B and Baccano! Dub and this dub itself is fine

Just got through the first episode of Black Rock Shooter. Nothing but lesbians and nightmare fuel. Seriously, what did I just watch and please tell me it starts making sense at some point.

I hate dubs unless its really good, I'm afraid they'll make their voices garbage so.

I'd give it a shot before saying that I'd avoid it completely. I watched a couple of episodes from the SAO dub, that was some ****.

Just saw that Bryce Papenbrook (Kirito) is voicing Eren. Chances of me actually watching it, just went down so much.

Ok yeah soul eater dub was well made.

I'm still watching that. From what i understand, the battle scenes are like visual representations of like her feelings and what shes going through and stuff.
