When i used to work on zone with alex, i felt like i worked with him and not "for" him, i didnt have very many restrictions on what i could add because he trusted me in the fact that i knew what i was doing

An issue ive noticed is that everything has to be "filtered" thru management, which is doing far more harm than good. Like i stated before, NONE of our managers have ever been proficient as a full time player meaning they don't understand everything thats going on in the gameplay. All ideas are ultimately up to them, and if they don't fully understand whats going on, then we can't ever expect to progress because any good chances can easily be messed up by them being clueless about one or many things at a time regarding just ONE single idea. This is why we need someone who plays the game fulltime as the person who overwatches and helps implement things, this "manager" interpretation we have being "the guy who calls all the shots and says what goes and doesnt" needs to stop, its nothing but hindering and limits potential and creativity. When i used to work on zone with alex, i felt like i worked with him and not "for" him, i didnt have very many restrictions on what i could add because he trusted me in the fact that i knew what i was doing, and that allowed me to get to where i had a lot of new content and updates lined up and done and some almost done and were getting released soon but sadly that didnt get to happen because our power tripping managers. But when carlito took over, i got hindered pretty badly because he doesnt accept ideas besides his own, and even tho i was still able to get a lot prepared, there still wouldve been delays in some parts just due to that. This is why i especially don't want carlito and chelt as managers, because we cant progress with people who are new yet are making all the decisions, heck, people on here who have extensive playtime like me, pigparty, platinum and others with 1000's of hours put in would make better managers because they have the credibility and knowledge to back up what their talking about, like Pigparty trades a lot, if he had an idea to make trades better, id know where he'd be coming from with it because he's experienced it first hand for 100's of hours, or if Platinum had an idea for basing, itd be credible because i see her base, but if someone never shot a gun before and wanted to tell me ideas or rants about pking, it wouldnt be worth my time to even listen because they have little to no knowledge of it, and honestly thats one major thing i don't like about our current managers, they dont know crap about the game but come on here like theyre our lord and savior but boss others around, and ideas are added based on what they feel and that feeling comes from their shallow pool of knowledge they have of the game, its a complete waste of everyones time and actually rather insulting. Its crap like this why the whole zone forums is nothing but rants, tashkin just had bad, unplanned ideas in general, alex's term wasnt that bad (overall he just didnt have the time, some ideas were ok, some bad due to his lack of playtime), but now we're at its worse in terms of management, we need a veteran zone player to be the one leading because theyll be able to do the job far better than the previous and current ones because they know whats going on around the game as a player.

Not everything is filtered through management. Projects yes, because we need some kind of leadership on new content. Else every member works on something else. And it ends up in total chaos. I've played graal since quite a few years. I don't say I'm a zone pro, but it's not like my thousands of hours on graal just appeared out of the blue. The thing that you don't get is that I have a team. A team I ask constantly about what we could improve and add. You can ask every team member you want. In every meeting I ask for requests and if there still is something anyone wants to say. Of course I won't really allow ideas to be worked on now, which don't fit anything. Like someone requested a weapon type which would be entirely new. Yet with the way the weapons are scripted right now, we can't do that. Therefore I told him that and that was the end of it. I also told him that it was a good idea and could work with the new weapon system. And therefore there is a good chance it's getting implemented. Just not right now. I have the levels team working in groups on a specific thing. And that's with every team. Every staff member knows they can pm me about everything. And they often do, and it's starting to work out. They see me as their friend and not their enemy. Of course fights and discussions still happen, but that's totally normal.

If someone asks me a serious question I try to answer it, no matter if it's a staff member or a player. Both Titanium and PigParty for example have asked me how they could help or how it's going. I told them the truth about it. Without spoilering anything. Like I am here on graalians read through every Zone thread, reading and noting down serious requests.

And about the rest of your useless complaints (you keep repeating yourself. We get it by now. You hate me and think I suck as a manager) but have you actually ever experienced what all of us can do? No. We are trying to make zone more fun then it ever was. Bring a high quality to it while balancing graal with our real lives. And yet all you do is rant here about me and Carlito. Yet you base everything you know about me, off the picture you have of Carlito. I am not him. And I am not here to talk about him. I do what I do for zone and the staff appreciates it. The reason up there is why I haven't hired you back. I should have wiped you, but hey I didn't. Abuse is a no go and staff knows it. We recently had another one who was let go for good. So instead of disrespecting me constantly, how about you write down what you would like to change and we bring it into zone chat. Like we do with so many other ideas.


Edit: Someone asked me why we kept the items InGame he added to himself. We didn't. We tracked down every Zone coin and item he added and removed them :)

There's a reason Silver got more votes than you on the manager poll and that's because we know he actually does something. What have you done besides firing staff and arguing with Geno here on the forums?? Nothing So I ask of you, to please step down and let someone capeable and competent to manage Zone.

Bwt Every staff should have full rights(as in creating levels/scripts in levels/majority of folder rights -heads-bodies-hats-images-gani ON Dev server.. So they can all work on stuff with there own initiative whether it be there own shop/event/mission it's still getting stuff done! whether its in the major project that i.e staff now like patrols etc(if some can actually also make stuff!the better) etc may not be doing then it gives them something to do IF THEY WANT TO..they should have that dam power on a dev server thats why it is there.

@Colin as I see this thread is an endless discussion about how me or Carlito should be fired or step down or how much **** we are. It's not really about the topic anymore. So how about we close down this thread and open up a new one that actually focuses "Let's make zone Great again"

No you didn't do anything to be involved because you had zero motivation to even figure out what was going on. The team was not making holiday items at the time or anything either. It was chaotic.
