This one's pretty neat. I originally took a plain screenshot from GW2 and cropped it to post it on the GW2 thread, but I figured I could make it a little nicer - and hey, I haven't practiced my manipulation skills in months. I had pretty much no strategy coming into making this, I just decided to wing it and try out a bunch of different, random strategies, and the really cool ones came out as an accident, and will definitely be used in the future when I make more artwork. The overall artwork has a pretty cool vibe, but it stays a little too true to my "fire" style that I tend to lean towards when I make sigs. And yes, the slight blur (evident in text) is intentional. Enjoy.

Not much to say on this one, but I really liked how it turned out. Yeah, I stuck with the fire theme again, but it stays true to Attack on Titan. This one also feels much more developed and I think the text looks pretty nice for a change in a bright signature. I tried to keep it non-monochrome, but I guess after all of the gradient maps and overlays I did, the blue fractals kinda dissipated. Oh well. I like it.

I challenged myself and tried to make a signature in 30 minutes, and this is what came out of it. Feels messy, but I like the color sheme. I just wish I had a better render to work with.

Woo, first sig of the year~ If you noticed I'm making a lot of signatures lately, I am. I've been on the road with a little too much time on my hands, so I decided to brush up on my GIMP skills again. I haven't done a 'clashing' color scheme in a while, and I decided to give it a go. I also decided to give the C4Ds a rest, and decided to go 100% fractal light effects on this one, and I think it turned out really nice. Lighting still needs a bit of work, and I feel like I'm missing something important, but I'll get back to that later. Also need to work on keeping the render a bit more recognizable (I bet you can't even tell who that is without looking closely) across all of my signatures lately. But, the text in this one is definitely one of my favorite text effects; I had a little fractal smudge in just the right area and a little experimenting for a nice, subtle effect. But, I just can't find to seem a good render of her to work with; this one was alright, but the lighting was annoying to work with from the get go. Overall though, lighting aside, I like this image. Enjoy, or don't.

I like the contrast between the colors on "Resolve". It's really nice and suits the photo just right. I like the "clashing" color scheme, you should do it more often 0: One thing I think "Resolve" needs is for the character to stand out a little bit more, but other than that it's awesome c:

Talon I made my sig in my own style Id love your judgement.

Looks very simple, doesn't really seem like any effects were added besides an overlay duplicate or contrast or something (either that or I didn't notice any). Not necessarily a bad thing, but really subtle effects like the ones shown in my tutorial that Pazx linked above can go a long way. The border is nice as well, a lot of people underestimate how much a border can do to complement an image.
