Chinese.
I used to have that stereotypical take on anime (weird girls n' stuff) up until I watched Hellsing Ultimate. Quote:

Yeah, Date A Live was really fun. Kurumi and Kotori were also my two favorite Spoiler
They were pretty solid characters in their own respect, as compared to the other characters like Tohka and Yoshino who had terribly forced or barely existing character development, respectively. But the character design is beautiful (I believe Kurumi's design alone attracted a LOT of people towards the audience, she's one of the top results on Google for "Which anime is..."). Tohka, Kotori and Kurumi all had amazing character designs, and while I wasn't a fan of Yoshino's, it was pretty unique and could be pretty appealing to some. I wouldn't call Date A Live the highest quality series, nor would I call it one of the best even in its own genre, but it has a lot of potential considering where it was left off, and I sure as hell am looking forward to Season 2 and seeing where they take the series. |

Log Horizon Season 2 is all but confirmed.
Did more research as I was getting to the current episode, the creator mentioned that plans for a season 2 were ongoing in early December. Side note; episode 23 contains an easter egg from the creators other series, Maoyu. Leefa from SAO is there too. |
Hamatora is a pretty good ongoing anime if you ask me.
Here's some info about it (Crunchyroll): Spoiler
