Had nothing to do with people "not being able to handle the truth", It was just it didn t really need to be there, PK isnt like spar. It's not a W/L situation it's just you kill people to increase your kills. There just wasn't any point to having deaths shown. It would be like having a "Amount of times you cooked a egg and amount of times the egg burned" it isn't really a competition to begin with

Plus, Like Colin said you get deaths for dying from anything. If you lose in spar it counts as a death, If you die from a baddy it counts as a death. Not just PK

I think deaths should be able to be shown or hidden at the player's discretion just to appease people like Michael, because like everyone else I do think it's a pointless/misleading stat in 95% of cases (the 5% being the fringe players that do nothing other than PK and don't open themselves up to dying through towering strategies, events, BKs, etc.)

If I had to make the decision between showing or hiding them, I'd definitely hide them though
Another issue is that people played the game under the assumption that deaths would never be displayed (because they never have been) and that obviously had an influence on the stat

I also feel like the first page of profiles look extremely empty and dull now with people have the option of hiding everything displayed on it - I tapped on someone earlier and their entire profile was literally just "---"

If players do have the option to display or hide deaths, then you will get those type of ppl who will call others chickens for hiding their deaths (as if it’s a KDA to pk and deaths when it’s completely not)
Then you will get guys who brag about their kills to deaths KDA when 50% of your deaths came when you’re not even trying to kill. Towering and BKing are 2 good examples.

“K/D spreadsheet for the best pkers” “it seems ppl can’t handle the truth” As you can see most of the ppl who agreed to have deaths shown are the ppl who have a good deaths to kills ratio and they mainly pk and don’t participate in other factors of the game, which makes sense why they have a good ratio of kills to deaths.

It’s not even an achievement to have a higher number of kills than deaths, uselees stats IMO. I’m not even saying this because I got more deaths than my kills and not even sad about it since all of my kills came all from towering. The fact tower defenders has more deaths than kills suggest they were towering propaganda because they didn’t chase after the kills but focused on the flag.

honestly there shouldn't be a hide stats option in the first place. You are left with nothing to base off how good someone actually is at the game

How about displaying your top 3 favorite items (lantern, juggle, effect or whatever) and/or hats? If you have any cool admin/event hat you would like to brag... I mean, show to people it would be nice to do so!

I like the new updates but I want to see more rather than a scroll for things we already had but only 2 ~ 3 things are added.

Good idea, poorly executed. the competitive aspects should be represented on page 1, with all the useless social information on page 2. You should be able to tap someone's profile and see someone's real stats, a representation of their skill level (not always accurate but you know). By all means add extra stats but pushing the competitive stats to the back page where no one sees them is just ludicrous, another discouragement to work on stats in the future. Things like partner, gralats, AP , birthday should be on page 2.
To me this is just another way of belittling the competitive aspects of the game in favour of the social aspects, which they will continue to do so more and more until there's no more pressure from the community to keep developing the competitive side.
I'm honestly shocked they even keep these seasonal leaderboards up, although i suppose With it being completely automatic no effort is needed to develop, maintain and update the leaderboards, and it's an excuse for the devs to say they still have some focus on the competitive side of the game. But it's clear to me they don't

So wait. Lemme get this straight. You're angry because the competitive stats are on page 2 And not the 1st?! Are you kidding me? It takes like 0.0005 seconds to press the tab to see the next page and you take this as a serious thing that belittled competition in the game? I mean if you're so discouraged to work on stats because it will take a nano second to go to the next page to see them. prob don't have much motivation to build them at all
