One thing that I do question is why the table graphics never get updated for the specific level.
I feel like a dark wood table with some scratches and perhaps some holes and cracks would fit better with that castle theme

These look like things a guild can buy to help them defend their tower. That would be pretty cool.

If I'm not mistaken, it's meant to be furniture for your house. If that's the case, I think that this is supposed to be a way for you to create a fort in your very house for teams/guilds to take. If so, I think this is a great for players who like to host events in their (guild)house.

It was never confirmed that those items were going to be furniture. With the New Guild System™ coming out soon, my guess as to what they are are as good as any.
