Update 8/16/15 - Alignment Points
 

The AP system from Classic has been implemented on our server.

• AP will automatically increase over time
• Killing of passive mobs such as chickens, squids, and bats will decrease AP
• Players who reach 100 AP will become invincible to all forms of damage
• Nickname colors now reflect players' AP status (and the playerlist now correctly reflects these nicknames)
• The command /ap can be used to view your exact AP value
• The command /setnick has been added for nickname setting
• Players with the same nickname as their account will be prefixed with *
• Admins are no longer marked by color but by the (Admin) suffix

With these changes, the ranks system that we have all grown to hate has been discontinued. All players will now have three houses with the exception of guests who will still need to be approved before they can make any changes to the world.

Can't you cheat the AP system by using lava, dispensers, and drowning traps to kill passive monsters?

No because you don't get AP for killing hostile mobs.

I have made a farm that's styled as a large tree.

There are four lanes that have a different crop in them. There is currently carrot, wheat, and potatoes growing in three lanes. The fourth lane will be for Beetroot when 1.9 is released.

Each lane should be able to contain 248 crops. When crops are ready to be harvested, a single press of a button will bring down water into hoppers, which is then fed into a large chest.

The essential parts of the farm are finished. All that remains is to make the thing look like an actual tree, which is going to take a lot of jungle leaves.

It took me a lot of jungle logs and leaves to make it. I think it's worth it. It's probably the nicest looking thing I've made in Minecraft.
