We have like 10 threads for this. Delete all these threads, just make one and sticky it so people don't make millions of threads.

This is an edit off the first one I posted, and the original head I used as a template/base for the first one for a comparison. I'd really like some tips and constructive criticism.

Shading is a bit off but works okay for an edit i guess..
And the green under and between her eyes doesn't fit at all..

The green is a mask. It's a request I received, and they wanted a green and black mask.
And how is the shading off? I want to be able to improve, so maybe I can start trying to make my own.

As for the shading you put lighter color were the darkest color should have been, look at the hair of the original, the places were its darkest is lighter on your edit, making the hair look strange. And may I suggest extending the mask to make it cover up more of the face and include a green rim of it around the eye so it looks more like a mask and not just thick eyeshadow?

Gave it a shot and edited the front view of the head for you.. I used:
-More detail on the colors
-Re Alligned the hair to the roots
-Added more spark to the hair
-Added more colors to the hair and eyes

I hope you can use it to your advantage in spriting. Not my best but i gave it a shot

So when I got an iTunes card and bought 20,000 gralats for the first time, I was quested to make my own head. I tried recoloring, but honestly, it's so tedious OTL So here's my first head:

I didn't upload it lol because I knew I'd never wear it. So after a few other crap heads, I finally got to this one:

I traced head and eye shape of course, but everything else is from scratch. I think next time though, I'm going to use the same head shape that I used for the first one. I've come to like it much better than the round head shape.

Btw, this isn't my first time using Photoshop xD I've been using it for 3 years before trying pixel art.

Very nice. Especially since it's from scratch. Just don't let SoulSlayer get a hold of it.
