guys, what are your top 5 best rom coms?

Mine are:

1)Toradora
2)Maid Sama
4)Familiar of Zero
5)Itazura na kiss

I haven't finished Pet Girl of Sakurasou yet, but I really, really like the animations. EVERYTHING IS SO PRETTY!!!!! Pet Girl of Sakurasou will probably end up in #1 or #2 :D

I'm running out of rom coms to watch, you guys got any recommendations?

Sakurasou doesn't really feel like a dedicated romcom (more of a drama) but since its classified as one, it's my favorite romcom.

Not necessarily, it depends how you look at it
Spoiler

The characters in the anime never actually do anything incestuous or "go very far". One of the characters in it is into eroge(sexual video game) in which incest situations are implied(not explicitly shown). In other words, there may be implied incest in a "fiction within a fiction", but its never actually shown and never "really" happens. It certainly covers the topic of it, but there characters themselves never actually do any real incest.

It is a bit weird, though I wouldn't consider it disturbing. Its only rated pg13, and it was shown on Japanese television.

I've only seen 2 ROMCOMS, and thats Toradora and Oreimo.

I found Toradora better than Oreimo in terms of plot, although I found Oreimo a lot funnier-it made me laugh way too many times.

So Toradora is probably #1, Oreimo #2, but in terms of the comedy aspect Oreimo is #1

The male gaze in KLK is so offputting, is it worth continuing? I've only seen episode one and I've heard plenty of good things about the show but frankly it's pretty disgusting.

Well recently i marathoned it to its current episode (19) and well i can see the concern that you had and well you just get used to it. I mean Mako is so annoying at first but she grows on you and the whole transformation in later episodes is cut down anyways so im sure you will be fine.

Plus the second half is awesome

Finished the first half of Guilty Crown...

Spoiler
1-13: Not sure how I feel about the quality of the series as a whole yet. There isn't really an established centralized plot that's the focus of the episodes, just seems like the episodes are Funeral Parlor missions (or just Shu missions) that vaguely relate to the Apocalypse Virus. Going to be comparing this a lot to Code Geass because they're very similar, and I felt Code Geass had a stronger main plotline with each character having their own backstory and personal agenda, which I don't feel is happening in GC as strongly. '3D' character development also seems forced at the moment aside from Shu, Ayase and /maybe/ Yahiro, especially on Inori (the whole 'is this love?' deal like five episodes after she told him to stay away) and Daryl's (notorious for brutality and barbaric killing having fun with Tsugumi at a school festival) part. GC pulled a lot of concepts from CG as well, such as the whole 'man at Heaven's gate', the Endlaves, regular boy inheriting the power of a king (interestingly enough, Geass and the Void Genome are both referred to as the King's Power), protags joining a terrorist faction, etc. GC does do a really good job at creating a hatable antagonist with good development which I felt was lacking in CG, as well as decent relationships between the MC and side characters, especially with Yahiro and Inori, even though they still feel pretty similar. The second half looks like it can be very promising though, looking forward to it.

first half of it is not too good.

It's becoming really good with recent episodes, the male gaze will cool off

Sakurasou is a serious emotional roller coaster, so if that's what you're looking for, then sure. Sharp shifts throughout the series that are either really depressing, joyful or somehow even both at the same time.
