Actually like this game okay it could do with improvements and other stuff(As OP players just going to prevail then others will stop playing) but overall it's a neat app great for when walking your dog about :D or just walking places in general.

I was on a bus today and there was like a pokestop at nearly every stop and lots of pokemon i got/some past aha but then was even playing it in the rain.

ATM near me two gyms are held by yellowteam (I chose Valor(Red)in the end)
they both have like 400hp and people are like level 8 and level 14 I'm only level 5 :C

I thought most people were gonna choose valor but it seems it's blue and yellow wherever I go!

Idk why people buzz off this it doesn't give any advantage at all as the main 3/4with pikachu are rare to find in wild anyway and you'd need alot of their own pokemon candy to upgrade the pokemon or evolve it to compete in the gym's. (Ik person who luckily got pikachu in an egg from a pokestop)

Let me rephrase that. Is it worth getting any sort of plan solely for Pokemon Go?

For Pokemon? No. But Project Fi is flexible in that you basically only pay for what data you use, and they credit money back to your account for data you don't use. I only pay $30/mo for 1GB of data and most of the time they credit me back for 75% or so I don't use. And if you go over they don't charge you any more than you're charged for the first GB. So honestly no reason to get anything other than a 1GB plan. It also rides off the Sprint and T-mobile networks so where one has poor service the other can make up for it.

However there is only a handful of compatible phones and when I signed up they didn't offer any sort of plans. They seem to offer a Nexus 5X for $200 with activation now though. The phone is most likely going to be the biggest problem because of the upfront cost. But if you don't use too much data but want the option to go over without worrying about fees or anything it's by far the best plan out there.

If I didn't already have a phone I'd probably jump right on that, but I have a one with 350 minutes monthly that I pay nothing for. A new plan/phone would honestly just be for Pokemon Go.

Not just this, but the game has also really helped fixing my sleeping schedule. I get tired from walking all day so am able to sleep at a more normal time and wake up earlier because I wanna get back out there lol

Turns out my dads tattoo parlor is marked as a pokestop, we are going to print out some pokemon outlines and the team symbols then I'm going to drop lure modules so people check it out, hoping for some good business!!

So many people at work are buying phones just for Pokemon GO.

I live in a small town, but there is about 20 pokestops within a ten-minute radius of each other so it's really helpful, well not exactly 20 but around that ballpark, by the time you get them all you can relap and do it over, makes farming for things super easy, I guess we have a lot of memorials and historic buildings (one of the parks has 2 memorials as little benches and they are marked as a pokestop)

My goal is to power up/evolve my squirtle, IDK if I should keep powering him up, or wait and try to catch a higher CP then power that up (I caught 2 wild ones already), the one I have now is over 100CP and his CP bar is more than half way full

My plan is to hoard eggs and just buy incubators and hatch a ton of them at once, I try to run 10k everyday (split into intervals), so I'm thinking run 2k to hatch my 2ks, take a break, run until all the 5ks hatch, break, then run until 10ks are hatched, seems like decent exercise plan and while running I can grab more eggs

^ Im really not sure what the best way levelling is, some people have said use the pidgey strategy (evolve your pidgeys to pidgeottos and transfer them, alongside weedles, rattatas etc) but others have said boost up your pokemon and go for gyms/ farm pokestops.

Also i've read that some believe its pointless to level up your pokemon because chances are, you'll find a stronger one in the wild when you level up. This is true to an extent, but at the end of the day there is a max CP (not sure what it is but there is one) so whichever route you do it doesn't matter that much as long as ur having fun doing it.

There's a new update on the App Store, it really improved the stability so make sure you update!

Yeah max CP depends on your level, my Squirtle is the max CP I can have right now so it is impossible for me to catch one with a higher CP, when I lvl up I definitely can but I will just power him up back to max CP

My strategy now is just catching and hatching eggs all day, I transfer over every pokemon I get and squirtle is the only one I keep, when I reach a relatively high trainer level I'll have tons of candy for each pokemon and a lot of stardust since I hatch 9 eggs at a time and get it in bulk, so I'll catch them at high CP and evolve them from there

I think with any of the starters your best bet is just to power it up to max CP, finding them in the wild is pretty uncommon I've heard and you often have to hatch them from eggs (2ks) so it's easier to manually get a high CP rather than just catch it like that

Height and weight also play a pretty important role it seems, my squirtle is XL for both so it makes sense to focus on it instead of one that has a smaller height/weight, should all take this into consideration when choosing which to pokemon to transfer or keep.

These things are based on my personal experiences and some others.

Tip 1:
Catch every pokemon you get.
Also save up the candy they give.
Once you get a lucky egg evolve all your "crappy" pokemons and you'll be getting 1000 exp per evolution. (Can let you skip a huge amount of effort and time in the long run).

Tip 2:
Never use stardust unless high level.
You only really need stardust at the point when your player level is capped.
Your player level will resemble what cp pokemons you find in the wild which basically means that low level stardust usage is a huge mistake since you encounter higher cp's along the way.

Tip 3:
Pokemon modules (pokelures) can actually stack up if the pokestops are close enough to eachother (aka being able to open them both without the other being unavailable).
Incenses and pokemon modules (pokelures) stack aswell.

Tip 4.
Pokemons have fixed spawn positions with a small radius around that position.
You'll notice this if you open pokemon go at your house and keepctrack of where the pokemons spawn.
Seeing a pokemon in one position pretty much means it can spawn there again.

Tip 5.
Try to get pokemon eggs(can get them at pokestops, have to be lucky though)
They can hatch pokemons that aren't available in your area plus 10km eggs can hatch the strongest pokemons.

Tip 6.
Don't get attached to pokemons since you're gonna have to transfer them eventually anyways if you're still leveling up your player(unless you prefer low cp pokemons that take up space ofcourse).

I've been stocking up on stardust but only level 6 atm(my highest is like 170cp) Not challenged a gym yet though because they opposite way of which i travel to work lmao maybe try weekend although the pokemon are all like 300cp :/

I run 9 incubators at once and just before my 2k's are about to hatch I use a lucky egg and then use that 30 minutes to finish the other eggs, which got me 9000XP in one egg run I do, I guess it's 200xp if you hatch one you already have, I hatched all new ones so it was 9k for me. Egg runs on a lucky egg will vary between 3600-9000 + xp from other activities.

Typically I'll also get 300-400xp per pokemon catch (or 1300-1400 if new) while doing the egg run as well, very fast levels.

I've yet to evolve many pokemon so I'm waiting to get a bunch and use a lucky egg to get 2k per evolve.

I have a ton of Pidgey candy as it is very common in my area and I have a few spawns near my house, so evolving them will be an easy XP grab for me.
