Still wasn't enough rights

Honestly, what more did you need? You were a Guns Admin. Sure, there may have been a small amount of rights regarding weapon stats that you weren't capable of doing directly, but I'm pretty sure Tashkin/FR/Alex had no objections to most, if not all weapon statistic changes you wanted, so when they had to do something themselves, there was no problem. More rights for you wouldn't have helped fix the server with things like bases or any of that. Those are developmental issues and were never fixed because of lack of development work and poor management. I had plenty of ideas for Zone too, but that doesn't mean that giving me more rights would have led to those things being fixed.

The position is more than just changing dmgs and stats, you basically have to balance the whole entire combat system, thats what people keep overlooking, its an incredibly hard job to do

Zone needs to be redone

It won't be. It will either be saved (which will take an excrutiating amount of time) or given time, it will be removed from the App store, and Zone will be done, or they may put it back on playerworlds, but doubtfully. I mean, you can have all these current admins saying things are going to change, but based on my experience, things won't change. Making a new tileset won't change anything. The funny thing is someone outside of Graal is (and has been) supposedly making the tileset, yet nothing of substance seems to be made and implemented after all this time. A new tileset won't fix incompetent management and staff. I haven't seen one substantive update ever since.... What? Maybe when Spring was created and released.

Not a knock on you, but so were a lot of people. The problem at this point isn't even lack of new content. So many things need to be changed or fixed right now on Zone that new content won't even matter hardly until what's currently broken is fixed.

Knowing how yall work, things aren't gonna change. Ive pretty much given up on Zone and went to era. Its really sad to see something ive put so much time into get destroyed by people that just don't care and have no clue what theyre doing, then have to nerve to lie constantly and say great things are coming when theyre not. The managers just get worse and worse as zone goes along, and im sure we've hit rock bottom with them now cuz Carlito doesnt know what he's doing and picked his favorite kiss up to be assistant manager yet he's even more clueless about zone in general. This is just beyond ridiculous. Its whatever now

Is it because Unixmad gave Carlito control over the server to bring back some good stuff? I dont get it, what is it now. You tend to change your mind about everything

Yet I know one fact, you have never ever worked with me or seen any of my work. Yet you critize and hate on me for trying to bring a server back to life. Do you know if I ever played Zone? No you don't. Do you know how much experience I got in Graal and outside of it? No you don't. Do you know anything about me? Nope, you don't. You judge me for the fact that I want to help this server. I have never hurt or assaulted you in any way, in addition you have not a clue what's going on on the inside. You have not a clue about plans we made or rules we set up. Yet you judge me, because you have not a single clue about who I am. I have never wronged you or anyone here. Like I said, I'm just trying to help Zone survive.

Its a big collection of things on why zone is failing. And to answer the second paragraph, everything i said is backed up by your actions during the time we both worked together, i study the way yall work just like ive studied the game, even tho you may be trying to help the server, you need to know how to properly do so, thats the issue, im glad youre at least trying but you have to know what youre doing and you still have a lot to learn about the game itself

But other then that, I know I still have a lot to learn about Zone ;) Trust me

If you want to show him you/others do something, come back here in a month with whatever you make for zone-whether it gets used or not. Actions speak louder than words,

"Zone failed" "revive Zone" We have been like this since the start, we never failed because this is Zone. And revive... I don't think Zone is/was dead. You shouldn't think this low of Zone, we are a server where everyone decides and an admin speaks to a player as if he would be his friend. We have fun stories back when Tashkin was a manager, soccer on trade house, renaming squads into funnier squad names instead of removing it, zera, zlassic, etc. You can't compare this to any other Graal server. Classic has ignorant staff (mainly busy, however they don't answer you back no matter how important it is), Era is pay2win full of gangters wannabe taking selfies of them with money and mom's credit card, OlWest is Era, but no one calls them "OlEra" or similar like Zonians saying Zera, and Delteria ... lacks 2-3characters on their playercount. Every server is special and I know that Zone is the most entertaining one. Players keep blaming, but unlike other servers, they never leave us.

We need to improve, but we never failed.

Idk why im still commenting on this. Most im gonna do in zone now is pk a bit and make sure staff doesnt screw up the guns or mess up in releasing them

Which? Ezio's? It was removed when the new map was made. (Probably non-intentional, just poor management of the new map) Zone doesn't need more shops, though. It needs activities and substance in what we currently have.

Well it's summer in North America soon, probably the only time we're gonna see 500 people online for more than a few hours, it's your best chance to prove this game is more than just crappy basing meta and more fun in its content :)

AND to be honest I'm seeing more and more people playing Zone, whether it's a growing fan base or just because some other factor it's a bad day to call Zone ‘dead’

This thread is essentially 97% ex-staff talking crap about a game they all have experience in. As another staff member can I just point out that Classic hasn't been fun either in about 3 years? But it works. Why? Instead of typing stuff about how it might work better, the community on Classic takes initiative. Like Ivy once said that we needed more furniture. So she made some... that we never used(thanks Tash). Mad reps.

You don't need power to make a difference. Hate the combat system? Go make a spreadsheet and actually code for what you think would work and submit it. Trust me, Z did something similar way before he was ever hired on era and it's one of the big reasons he was picked later that year.

Obviously nobody wants to do this extra work for nothing. Obviously nobody wants to just be rejected when they do attempt. But we do need to attempt.

It's great that people care enough to actually hold this conversation. There was a huge period when this subforum would get 1-2 views a day. But typing suggestions and complaints is about as useful as me writing a letter to the President.

Taco Bell loves to be flamboyant and do all these publicity stuff but when they're down, and they have been for a while now, you don't see them trying to fix the things they currently have out. Na. Like I said before. Zone isn't dead. Lambda said it too. We on the come-up. But we get no recognition since we don't have the player base which makes money. And don't just put out cash grabs like auctions or rushed updates. Like make actual good items and fix the game. Remember how Classic was on a recession before Pyrat Bay Quest was added? For the next month it boomed. Do something like that nebs. Literally hundreds of good ideas are on this forum. Read them. Now learn how to program and attempt. Or make out concept art.

depends on what you are trying to do. If you are trying to balance alone, no not hard, as long as you know time to kill balance your fine. If your trying to rehaul guns entirely, then it's ****ing hard.

Most tier 1 weapon is unbalance.
Some tier 2 weapons aren't well set correct.
tier 3 weapons flaw out tier 2 weapons and 1 weapons.
Auction weapons skip tier 4 and 5 almost.

Also all he did was buff weapons he used, then says it's hard. please really .-.
