Not sure what your point is either. As I said before, I'm not quite sure why someone would think you'd have to win a GST to have an opinion to what the prize should be. In fact, I look at it objectively because I see all sides to the issue, and I know I won't win a GST, so I'm not biased toward one side.

The truth is, I'm not leaving the classic subforum because you dislike my opinions. You can either get over it and argue with me about the issue, or ignore me in general. I'm not going to continue responding to everyone who attacks me personally because of my opinion that they dislike.

I'd say I met him early 2011. I helped him about when he got his guild to 1k and got the hat of himself :P

I am never going to win a gst but I think the winners should have a say in what their hat looks like.
Its something they can only do every 3 months and even then real life stuff can stop them participating which means another 3 months wait.
Where as 1k guilds get to choose their hat even though they can have various leads, tower whenever they want etc.

Well lets use me as example, I have 13500 spar wins, I have sparred over 18000 times, I have participated in 13 gsts, I have probably played this game the same time if not longer then you have.

My point is people with more relevance should have their opinion placed at a higher level then yourself and others.

If Sarah came here and told you that these hats are stupid and custom hats are a much better idea then the current prizes I'd see that as a greater opinion then yours.

I have no clue why 40 people have said no to editing/customizing hats that seems fishy to me.

If staff came up with something that clarified what exactly on each hat could be changed (symbol, color, etc.), that could allow edits to be efficient. I got attacked, even though I agree that the GST prize isn't good enough for the effort and skill required to win a GST. I simply gave my reasoning behind why edits are problematic and some took that as an attack on sparrers in general.
Honestly since so many people have related this to 1k towering... It's obvious that towering needs a revamp. Custom hats have become so devalued compared to what they should be. That's part of the reason I thought even a custom hat for GST winners isn't enough, and why I suggested something unique. I gave that example of a sword, simply as an example, and got attacked even more for an idea I put no thought into, haha.

I agree that different achievements should give different rewards.
Or at least make it a point system.

Isn't that a personal decision for yourself to make to determine to what degree you consider my opinion? I don't know why I was attacked so much by so many if my opinion isn't considered at a high level. If my opinion to you (or anyone else) isn't considered much, then my opinion shouldn't cause so much drawback. Please note, I didn't mention me playing in 2011 or anything. Doesn't matter who played longer or who sparred more. What matters is that I did play a fair amount of time, and sparred a decent amount myself, plus I participates in a few GSTs myself. I always joined the GST for the fun with friends from my guilds. PS I only have one acc & only voted once <3

Literally couldn't have said it better myself. People said the GST is much harder than towering (which I don't disagree with) but shouldn't the GST prize and the towering prize be unique in their own ways? They're so different, the prizes should be unique to their own.
