I legitimately have no idea what you're talking about. Having just 1 GST would force everyone to get better and would be 100x more competitive. I could tell you the disadvantages I had in the past but I always overcame them but I don't have the energy to even respond to whatever you just ranted about.

Anyways @Rufus or any other highup/scripter are we going to have a place on map to view how the overall guildfort leaderboard ended up once this new ldrbds got implemented.. Seems really bad to take away the whole hostory of the server just because you guys wasn't into the fort system as much as you were for sparring, I like the new system idea but to cut off its history to just top12 to 1k(thats not even 100%correct) is sad..thats why there should have been log of top50 once this new system happened.

Towers is in MoD Town library.

Which is weird, because pkers and baddy killing have nothing to do with battle arena... as far as I know.

They should add pking, sparring, towers, etc to Mod library. Keep it all in one place, even if you have to make the room a little bigger.

The baddies one was more tailored more towards seeing what your profile value represents, not what you have done within the last day/week/month/season. I mean it can be, but it has way less of a meaning. You should really already be aware of what CPUs you've been killing for the last month.

What about the tower you pk at the most, or the type of baddy you kill the most? Instead of keeping track of how many kills you have in each one/for each type.

Virtually all of the BKers over 100k either used Spiders (Onnet / Destiny) before recode, Bats (Deadwood / Snowtown) and the blue baddies in the cave in the original shovel quest.

Would've been interesting to see how many pyrats people have killed also.

TBH its kinda useless and stupid to display "historical" stats that cut off at the end of 2015. IMO it would make more sense to script it to be up-to-date. Unless the sole purpose of the library books is to quell those who are salty.

Me neither. Basically everyone that has more than 200k (besides that girl who grinded crabs all summer with 400k) used that level. I didn't understand it because at that point I didn't realise it could be done that fast. Deadwood bats would probably still be there if people didn't glitch around. And spiders were fairly balanced because they fired there just weren't enough of them spread around d the map and the amount of times I feedbacked for them to be reset because they got stuck on a wall.

can we just have a menu that pops up, we could scroll through, see all the best pk/bk/spar leaderboard that displays top 100, then we can tap their names to see their profiles. pretty much old leaderboard mechanic just in the library books.

I'm in 2 of the library books in the arena and I agree, it's kind of stupid because after a while they don't promote any activity or incentive, it's just to glorify the people who played the game first... which is pretentious

BKs are the most exploited statistic ever, if you weren't around when it was dumb easy or when you could AFK in York water then you have no chance unless you go full 24/7 Anyu mode

I also really still think you guys should consider a leaderboard filter for rating for singles and guild sparring, just a leaderboard to display the top "showrating" and "showguildrating"
It's going to be abused like the old leaderboard was, but at least people will have something they can feel good over

While I understand that the removal of the all-time lists and the format of the new leaderboards serve to incentivize further competition, without any significant accolades to show for being atop any given leaderboard, a couple seasons down the road I would imagine players would care much less being that their efforts yield only temporary rewards. I'm not sure what the prizes mentioned in the news post are, so the issue that I'm talking about might already be resolved. However, I think it would be a neat and competition-incentivizing idea to add an 'Accolades' tab under the 'More Actions' menu on a player's profile. This tab would list a player's achievements from previous seasons, like so:

Something like this would allow for competition to yield permanent rewards, while still incentivizing competition for future seasons.

Unless player achievements are listed somewhere for everyone to see, then we are back to square one. What they want is to show-off that they have the highest amount of a specific stat.

As in some sort of section where others can view which people have the highest amount of gst wins/which guild has the most, etc.

Yes, if you don't get anything then the people who are always placing for having more time than you, will discourage almost everyone from even trying.

Your idea for achievements would be nice, when/if they finally add achievements, but it wouldn't be enough for the people who want their names up their somewhere for getting that achievement more than others.

I never cared about being listed in top 100, but it did feel unfair towards sparrers, which were the only ones who did not have a top 100 board (for having the most of something). Now, I just feel bad for the people who spent so much time, that were then later "robbed" of their progress. Sure, their progress is still there, but they now have no recognition of it, as if it never happened.

I would make a poll to see if people want the "all-time" back, but the majority of graalians aren't players who actually play the game to be at the top, so it would more than likely be too biased.
