Slx loosing to them does not mean much , half of the team was made up of delay which they probably do not have to deal with in gst.

Yeah I'm aware that mixed does have some delayers , however is no where as Manny or as intense like in the idev gst. Also i agree that its good to know how everyone spars in the community , however it's not a good idea to rely on it as people can do a simple slot and name change to confuse opponents who are too dependant on this .For an example I've seen alumni using this tactic and it showed to be effective.

I'm assuming that if you do not live in the US then on probably delay , even if it's just a little ? I know pretty much applies to most idev players but as I do not participate in the mixed gst teams I can't assume it works the same way.

Anyway in past GST SLX has always had problems with people being jailed/banned.

From what I saw Deity is getting a lot better together and they do practice just not for countless hours each day but they'd still probably go far.

Regarding Darkk I have no idea what series that is about unless you're talking about last night because I assume that's why Dem wanted SLX members online but I don't think it was the mixed team but if it does Good Job man.

Whoever enjoys themself the most will beat the game.

But who am I kidding, there will probably a 5k lag fest during gst. Hopefully not, but very probable.

Everyteam I'm in I guess #NeverWonAGst My team always make it to the Quarter Finals/Semi finals and end up losing to Alumni everytime for a bizzare reason. Except that 1 GST we lost to Apostles.

I have no plans to GS earlier than probably midnight EST until school is back in the US, airsparring is boring to me and there's usually at least 1 or 2 other decent teams on

GS at 8/9AM EST I've noticed that's when lag isn't that much and still good players are on.

Just a suggestion. If we'd all stop trolling eachother and created some site or used kik to communicate we could actually organize matches and avoid the noob guilds. There was a site where you could create leagues, have a ladder and challenge teams. I'd be down to forgive and forget for some decent matches, scheduled at optimal times.

I say we find a dead ladder on MLG hijack it and record win/losses and use their challenge system for our convenience haha

alumni will probably win mixed even without whoever (idk who is even on that team) just because they're used to sparring with each other and every other team seems to be a brand new roster that spends more time trying to hype themselves up than actually showing their talents. (SLX BDB or whatever aren't exactly "good teams" in any way, i 2v5ed blackout and got 7+ hits on the "better players" in the minds of the community, while lag-spiking all over which we all know i'm not good with. they seem to suck at guildsparring.)

You didn't give your opinion on Deity though. Deity=Alumni Gsing wise hopefully Deity reaches their maximum potential and spar a lot together because it would be a very very close match.

i haven't seen any deity besides dae running around so i can't comment.

i haven't sparred since hitting 54,321 wins in june because my wi-fi in connecticut is insanely bad and not enjoyable at all, will probably spar again (though very rarely) when i'm back in college in new york. will only be guildsparring until then (also very rarely because my connection makes it annoying to do anything on this game).

The top teams on mixed side are Alumni, GTEAM, Deity and Blackout and one of these 4 should win the tourney most likely being Alumni unless the other guilds actually practice and do good. But really, SLX? All of em suck n they wear gay uniforms XD

yes, considering that i have been playing for over 5 years and have sparred over 70,000 times (top 5 most spar matches on the server), anyone who isn't new to the sparring community (which is very small so you definitely should have seen me sparring) on this server should know my performance in lag (not delay) is nowhere near optimal.
