Well I was hoping the "boss" for that last mission was more challenging.

I literally sat back and let my Fusion Rifle do all the work.

Hopefully the story can pick itself up later on.

They give COD Ghosts a 8/10, Titanfall a 9/10 and Destiny a 6/10 for having a bad story mode.

Never trusted Gamespot as I find they have no hell what they're talking about. I'm generally more into Metacritic and stuff like that. Just don't know if I should buy it now when everyone saying that its not what they expected.

I beat the game

Yeah, heard that was popping up for alot of people today.

I think the problem is that your not thinking about it right. On the first strike mission on old earth my group was holed up in a hallway for an hour and a half fending off Fallen Captains while trying to take the Walker out.

The first moon story mission was fast paced and quite interesting, considering the main way to survive was hijacking a pike and using it against the ambush force of Fallen. Then there's the Hive boss fight, haven't even beaten it yet.

And I haven't even been to the crucible yet :P


For those of you wondering I'm committing to becoming a proficient Sunsinger, no one seems to be using that subclass so I'm going for it (also my name... Yeah)

Strikes have nothing aside from dodge, shoot, and kill adds, then kill the boss with insane amount of health. Stories, less so.

The only place that has any actual required mechanic, are solely in the raid that's out.

Again, your thinking of the actual process, not how you can be playing. Change up your tactics, take it on with good friends, maybe even try it with a different character! It's not that hard to spice things up when your bored.


If you want a game to be fun, don't think about the game like your reviewing it, think of it how it's meant to; put yourself in your characters shoes while your fighting.

I think there's just so many popular game review sites and YouTube channels where it's gotten to the point where people are missing the point of the games, your not there to review it, your there to play it. Leave the reviewing to the ones who get paid for it!

It doesn't matter how you try the spice things up because anything that's not in the raid is a **** ****ing lazy designed fight. TONS OF HEALTH, MANY ADDS, DODGE ****, THEN SHOOT **** THAT HAS CRAZY AMOUNTS OF HEALTH.

You're assuming I don't like the game, that I don't have fun on it. I do, it's just that it's a piece of **** when it comes outside of raiding content.

Stayed up watching a twitch stream of a guy grinding for gear and preparing for the raid with his friends. They started at 11 and when i woke back up to go to school (at 6) they were still trying to beat the last raid boss. On the raid itself, its crazy. So much stuff was going on.. It was intense to even watch the guy play.

At one point there was a major boss that would spawn around the room, but as the boss is alive there are these things called oracles that if they stay alive too long they cover the screen in black and/or wipe out your entire team. If your screen became black you had to go to a teammate who was carrying The Relic and he has to cleanse you to remove the curse. Then the guy with The Relic has to super the shield off the major boss and everyone has to try and kill it. Throughout this whole process there are just level 28 enemies that just pour in around the room.. Also this was only the second phase of the raid..And people wanted matchmaking??

From what I saw, the raid heavily depends on teamwork. During the stream, the guys were splitting up to do different roles like kill the mobs or find and kill the oracle. After watching the stream, its laughable to think that the players who didn't have a team of six wanted matchmaking. They probably wouldn't had even made it past the first part.

I have gloves that increase reload speed of hand cannons. Didn't even realize it was slow lol
