I noticed that some mounts recently have been so big they manage to stick out of their canvas....
https://i.imgur.com/tDtxMWr.jpg I kinda want to make the mount big as well for the contest, but the problem is the normal horse template is obviously too small... how can I make it as big as the mounts above without it sticking out of the template? |
Yeah Ikr Even me I Made my First Ever Mount but i feel that its too bad for him to fit in a small canavs? i think there must be a new template

Do all of the submissions need to be in one email or can they be sent separately as we develop more graphics to submit?

Drawover Template lets you make the mount a bit bigger, but dont use the right side if you dont plan on any part of the mount being layered over the player in game.

I've always wanted a flying dragon mount where the wings go a layer above the player |
It's fairly new... I think the first mount with this in-game was the hummingbird in the bug shop?

When using the bigger template, keep in mind the shadow will still be in the same spot (around the horse's feet). You'd don't *have* to use all of the template space, in fact I'd say try not to fill it all up. The extra space is just there for parts that would usually be too big for the original template like maybe a tail or wings or long ears (like the rabbit). You want to still try and keep the proportions the same as the horse in the template if you can help it or it the mount might look wonky in-game. At the very least, keep the feet of whatever mount you make in the same spot as the feet of the horse. It can go a little lower, but don't overdo it. |
Should we be cautious of making hats that would be considered accessories? Or are we in the clear for making hats like, for example, pumpkin shades?

also just a reminder because some people aren't doing their email subject right... Title your emailed submissions as "Halloween Submission"!!! if you don't title your email correctly we won't receive the submission! I've been emailing everyone back who properly sent their submission saying that we've received it. If you have't gotten that confirmation email then we haven't properly received the submission and won't have anything you sent possibly approved. Please title your email correctly. Quote:
