If you need tools to work, and have a working tool and you want to replace that tool with a better one, you dont throw out the old tool before the new one is ready. The same goes for classic because in this case, the new and old tool= new and old guild system. Updating the game is great, and we understand updates may take a while due to the understaffed staff, but there wouldnt be so much uproar if they just kept the current stuff until the new stuff was done. For example, the old castle and hat shop (besides the tower) was kept entirely until the new castle came out. The author is asking why classic removes stuff without having replacements ready; not why stuff gets replaced.

I would like to see the old castle hats used again in some way whether they are given out by admins at events or spread across the map like the nafet river hats or maybe even given their own second room in the new castle armory.

I agree with this. They probably don't want to re add most of those hats because they go against the newer shading style. I personally like the old style better but it's probably just nostalgia

They have added to the shop hats with newer styles at one point I think
