Maybe GST hats should work like 1k hat. After the winners are chosen they can design their own hat and submit it for approval. The prize for second and third places would need to be changed though.

When did I ever say this?? The topic of uploading your custom hat for winning the GST and 1k towering is 100% related because that's the prize you get for towering, which is less difficult and prestigious than winning a GST. The prize should be the same, if anything.

You're constantly talking about unique swords and items that literally no sparrer who has a chance of winning the GST will ever care about or use. How is it fair to force us to compete for something that we don't even want? How does this "devalue" towering or whatever you're talking about?

Winning a GST=harder than getting 1k. Better reward for harder thing. People want GST prize to be custom hat. If the prize is better, then the 1k prize would have to be different.

Idk why you think no one would use a real custom sword. It would be used the same as any normal sword except it's equipped as your sword and is custom-made to whatever (within reason obviously) size, shape, effect, etc. you want. I think people would find that cooler because it's actually useful, rather than a hat that there's thousands of in-game already, which is useless, and in all honesty most people stop wearing after the first few weeks.

Swords are pretty limited. You can make the GFX different, but go see the melees on iZone and you'll see how different a true custom sword can be from the player-uploaded custom swords. :)

Great idea, I hope the staff are paying attention to you good sir. Having custom sword uploads would be absolutely amazing, truly revolutionary. I'm sure people would even pay a fair amount of gralats to have custom ones uploaded.

I'm now convinced you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. That sword idea you're talking about will not be used by 98% of the people who would win it. You're talking to two people who won GSTs very recently and we're saying we wouldn't, I can guarantee you others who have a chance of winning wouldn't want that stupid idea as a prize either. This goes back to the idea of people who will never win the GST commenting on what prizes we should get for it. It doesn't make any sense. We don't want these ugly hats, those stupid items this guy is mentioning or any of that. I was just thinking in relation to GST since it involves PK. Idk, though. If someone had a fairly big sword that could be equipped and used, rather than just slashed, I would think they would get hella spam about it. I just see all the talk about how 1k hats are given so much because of the towering system right now that they aren't anywhere near as valuable as they were before. And anything I can suggest that will prevent another anbu mask from being uploaded is a win in my books. :P

The difference is you can't upload your own hat whenever you want. The difference is that you have never won a GST so you don't know how frustrating it is to be winning hats you never wear.
